Prologue: The Crash
Alexa's pov:
I don't know why everyday has to end like this. My face painted with tears and the voice of my mom in the back of my mind telling me that I'm useless. I am just glad I can escape that reality for a while and that is exactly what I am doing right now. I am escaping.
I run towards the field, climb over every fence just to get there. To get to my safe place. The only place that can make me feel better after a horrible event like today. Having to deal with her emotional meltdowns are painful.
It is okay though, because I am here now, my safe haven. I take a deep breath and then I let go of all the tension inside my body. In that moment the pure scent of nature after a drizzle surrounded me and I felt at home. I sit down on my usual spot. The second biggest ridge, the perfect site to watch the sunset and maybe notice an interesting animal.
After about 3 hours and darkness I decide that I should probably return back to living hell, otherwise known as "home" but then I hear a very strange sound. I turn my head to see where the sound is originating from, my eyesight have never been that great in the dark. Then I realize it sounds like a plane coming very close and then I see it... A plane aimed towards the blue gum trees it looks like the pilot is blind and just started to have panic attack because this plane is going to crash. any moment now. Then as expected it hits the trees with a magnificent force and a loud sound.
Like some i***t I run straight towards the plane that can now be known as the half plane with no front. I get to the tail and I think that no one could possibly be alive. I see a opening into the medium sized plane and see a body, I run towards whats left of the front and find no trace of anyone even being there during the crash in fact, there aren't even blood or anything in the whole plane. Confused I walk back and remember the body. Maybe he is at least alive I think. I kneel down just to find that the very attractive "body" actually has a pulse, and at the same time I notice that the man was handcuffed.
What is going on? Why is this man alone? Why is this man even handcuffed?
Confused I decide to place the man in a sitting position, he is quite heavy but I manage. I need water for him maybe I can wake him up like that maybe I can get a few answers on the other hand. Do I really want to? This man can be anyone and the fact that he is handcuffed is really counting against his credit. Even if he does wake up, how do I know that he is not lying? How can I confirm?
"Wh-where am I?" a manly voice ask from behind me, I look up seeing his face. "Wait, who am I?" he responds again. I can see the confusion in his eyes.
What now?
