Chapter 16

“Alpha! There is an old man requesting for your presence, even Luna’s.” One of the guards says behind the door.

That wakes me up abruptly, scaring Liz awake. “Take that man to my office and stand guard at all times. We will be there.” I yelled back.

Liz and I get ready right away. We head out from our bedroom and go into my office. There stood and old man. Small, scrawny but I sense a great power from him that was unexplainable at the moment. I head to my chair, taking Liz to my lap. I scowled at the old man.

“Who are you and what do you want from us?”

He kneels down and bow his head, surprising all of us in the room. “Alpha, Luna, my name is Jax, and I have information that is of value for you. It’s in regards about the Luna.” He explains.

“What about my mate?” I glared at him. “Can you please take a seat sir.” Liz tells him. I look at her, she shakes her head at me. I sigh. “Please take a seat.”

Jax sits down. “Luna is in grave danger. I have a part of it before realizing of all the information I had gathered. However, I have all evidence that you will need in order to protect her and not let evil win.” He explains.

“How can I possibly trust you? After hearing you had a part in all this?” I exclaimed.

He shoves a folder towards us. “This here is all the information I had gathered. Not only that, but I also have information about the Luna and her family history.”

“What do you mean about my family history?” Liz asks him. “Luna, there are a lot of things that you don’t know about. You don’t know half the truth of your family.” He takes out an envelope from his case.

“You might need to take a look into this. You will be very surprised in what you are going to find in there.”

Liz takes the envelope with a shaking hand. She slowly opens it, carefully taking out the contents of the

envelope. There is a picture, a couple with a newborn baby, next to her parents, who also had a new

born baby. They all looked happy. Next, a small letter, addressed to her. There was more papers, looking

very important and official.

“What is all this?” She asks.

“Are you for the truth child? This will change everything in your life that you have known.”

“Liz, I’m here with you no matter what. You are not alone ok. Whatever it is, I will be here supporting you no matter what princess.” I hug her, to show that she is not alone. I look back to Jax, “Why are you doing this? What is your purpose?”

“Alpha, I am here because I had foreseen the future. I am no ordinary wolf. I am a hybrid, half wolf and half wizard. I also came in hopes of finding shelter, away from the people who are trying to harm the Luna. I will also be in great help with any information that you will need in all of this. You have my oath and loyalty. It is very sacred in giving my oath to you.”

“Fine, when it comes about my mate, I will do anything to protect her. You will have your own space, but be warned, you will be watch and guarded.”

“Thank you Alpha. I won’t let you or the Luna down.”

“Better be that way.” I said. I look at Liz. “Princess, are you ready for this?” I ask her.

“Yes. Somehow, something is telling to go through with it. I may not like it, I may be in shock, but I need to know the truth. I need to know the full story of my life and my parents. And from this picture, these people as well.”

“Ask me anything that you need to know Luna. After reading that letter, I know you will be confused. I’ll clarify anything.” Jax tells her.

Liz takes a deep breath, and slowly opens the letter.
