The Killer Shadows

Max's POV*

The Killer Shadows have always been the unspoken pack. That's because they were never really a pack. They were made up of the most ruthless rogues from the strongest packs out there. 

They became strong when the crossed with witches. They weren't ordinary witches These witches were a part of the Scarlet Elites. 

The most powerful witches alive. But when line of Scarlet Moon Hybrids first started two of the six witches turned against the Scarlet Elites. 

Their ideas were that no creature should ever reach that kind of power. Their ideas were formed by fear. Fear that they were to be over ruled. Fear that they would be left powerless. 

The Scarlet Elites were made up by 12 total creatures. The strongest, brightest, and bravest of all. There were 6 witches, 2 werewolves, 1 vampire, 2 seers, and finally one Hybrid.

The hybrid was known to be the leader. The strongest of all. the hybrid had no part vampire. It had the ability to shift at will like a werewolf, the strength of one, the ability to see the past, and the magical abilities of witches. 

It was said that said hybrid had no weakness. All except their heart. Their kindness and loving nature made them strong but vulnerable. Once their werewolves' side found their mate, they would do what would prevent them from harms way. 

That's how each hybrid since has died. The two witches that feared the hybrid left and swore to wipe each of their line in history into oblivion. They had done this over the course of 5 centuries. 

They did this by capturing their mates every time they discovered them. They would bring more harm to the mate the longer the hybrid took to bow down to them. 

Then right as they were to give themselves in, in front of the hybrid, they would kill their mate. That would turn them insane. Their wolf would take over because of all the pain. Then they couldn't see the future anymore. Lastly their will to do magic would vanish. 

That's when  the witches would kill the hybrid. 

No hybrid ever saw it coming. Nor did they think that being the most powerful creature allowed them to not only over power the witches but fight them off and having their mate safe. 

All they thought was that their mate was going to be killed, their ability to logically and strategically think would vanished. 

That would mean not only would we have to tell Adrianna everything. Not only all it meant to be a hybrid, but when the time came only she would be able to protect me. 

Our pack would take down the Killer shadows, but my life depended on her killing the witches before they would try to kill me.
