Regret of the Alpha

Narrator’s POV*

Adrianna was more than hurt. She was such a caring person. For any regular human going through heartbreak is often and one of the most emotional painful things, and it only gets worse for super naturals contrary to their supernatural abilities.  

Max didn’t seem to realize what he had truly done until that moment. 

Yes he loved Adrianna. His mate. He never wanted to hurt her. That’s was his excuse for not completing their mating. For not marking her and allowing her to mark him. 

He feared he would go overboard and hurt her. 

What he hadn’t realized was that she could handle it. More than that. 

But he had lost that now. Never had given her a chance to prove him wrong. 

When an alpha male finds his mate they need to finish the mating as soon a possible. The hormones will go overload if he doesn’t. 

He kept pushing her off and then Victoria came back into his path. He never cared for her in any particular way. But she basically threw herself on him. Almost as though she knew that he and Adrianna were having issues. 

The whole ordeal had been going on for a couple of weeks. 

Every time he felt even worse than the last but he couldn’t tell Adrianna. So every time he would just grieve as he scrubbed away any trace to him being with Victoria.

 Even her scent knowing that Adrianna would be able to smell it. 

That’s what lead him to his own demise. Being Unfaithful and untrusting. 

Max’s POV*

I.. I broke her… I broke my Luna’s heart. My mate… I hurt her… Along with that I hurt myself. 

I’m such an i***t!  

*Quick side note every wolf or wolf hybrid has another “person” inside them that is their wolf. They have their own mind in the human form and talk to their human side in their mind. Alissa is Adrianna’s and Blake is Max’s. When the human form finds their mate their wolves are mates as well. So the following conversation is in Max’s mind.*

“YOU IMBECILE I TOLD YOU NOT TO EVER DO THAT! SHE’S OUR MATE HOW COULD YOU?! DID YOU EVER REALISE THAT YOU WOULD BE HURTING ALL FOUR OF US?!” BLake started screaming as soon as he saw through Max’s eyes what he had done. 

“I NEVER MEANT TO HURT HER! I just…” 

“NO THAT'S IT! I’M TAKING OVER!”

Narrator’s POV* 

That’s when Blake took over and now Max was screaming on the other side of their mind link. But Blake shut him off and went to find Adrianna. 

He was the one who would fix this. That is if it wasn’t already too late...
