Dad!Dad!You don't have to go!! Mum say something” That was me the afternoon after my parents got into a fight and I definitely had no idea of anything that happened.Few days ago we just came back from the beach and now this. “Kathy baby, step back from the door and do it now” My mom pleaded “But Mom! He's going and why aren't you saying anything?” All my pleas to know avail and then he came back to the door, knelt down and looked me in the eye than he said “Kay” he called me ,like he always did He looked at me like he wanted to cry and then he said “I'm leaving and there's absolutely nothing that can change that.I couldn't work things out with your mom” I looked back at Mom.Tears clouded her eyes Then he continued “Mom and I may not have worked out but you're the best thing that happened to me and believe it or not I love you but this……” Then he looked at mom “ I cannot continue for the sake of my sanity and your mom's peace of mind. So be a good child to her and I'll be always here for you, okay baby?”. My mom couldn't take it anymore, she ran inside and I heard her crying loudly. Then he left. I never saw him again I really hated my Mom after that and I wished that I never found the reason why he left and I grew to dislike men afterward but it had nothing to do with my Dad at all. Life has given me my own fair share of very, crazy men and to be honest I didn't blame my mom or my dad at all because relationships are extremely stressful and mentally exhausting. But he wasn't like that. He was everything I never thought that I deserved and he made it very easy.Nothing felt forced with him and he was someone I looked forward to spending time with and I would be spending my entire life with this man. Though there had been a few bumps here and there he was worth it . In a few seconds,he would be My husband,My Daddy ,My best friend and my favorite person - all in one person ********** If anyone ever told me that I would have been attending my own wedding day,I would've definitely laughed my ass off I have seen her in every form imaginable, the messy bun she wore when she woke up from sleep, our countless game nights, countless dinner dates, evenings with our friends, her panic mode when she's rushing off to work, and the quiet moments when it's just us at home. But nothing is compared to seeing her walk down this aisle with her beautiful gown. She didn't let me see this dress beforehand for a reason, and now I understand that completely. Morgan told me that there's a special feeling that comes with this moment, but he never really explained it so well. The only thing I wanted to do was to freeze this moment . So that I can revisit it every day of my life. I could proudly say that I won the lottery and I can't wait for her to be mine. She’s no longer an annoying douche bag I met, she’s my wife. Mine to love. Mine to protect. And mine to ruin…….. If I’m not careful. I also can't wait to start saying things like, “My wife did this," or “I need to get that for my wife”or “my wife needs me at home right now.” Beck would hate me for it because I’d miss every gym practice and cancel all the meetings that I have if it means going back home to her.
