“Take her away!” I yelled out in rage, tightening my fist, breaking my fingernails in my palms, I turned my gaze as they dragged her off the hall due to my orders. I couldn't believe that my mate thinks I'd killed her father, how did such a thing happen? I asked myself rhetorically.

“Raymond Sinclair, I will never forgive you, I will ruin you, I promise!” She growled before it all ended and the hall fell into a deep silence. I returned back to my study room to finish the job I had left in order to sort out this mess. A sharp pain struck my chest, reminding me of the stab wound Talia had inflicted on me earlier.

Soon, Arthur arrived with a treatment kit to attend to my wounds. “Has she been taken to the bedroom?” I asked, he nodded immediately and responded. “Yes, alpha. We had to sedate her as well” he added.

I jerked up, arching my brow as I grabbed the collar of his T-shirt and pushed him violently against the walls. “What? How dare you do that to her? On whose orders?” I yelled out, tightening my grip on his shirt. My heart ached and my chest heaved a deep breath.

“I… I'm sorry, alpha. But she was being too violent. We couldn't handle her wolf, she is strong” he explained to me.

“But that doesn't mean anything, you could've just had her cuffed up to the bed, or even…” I was speechless and unable to utter any more words. He actually did the right thing by sedating her but I couldn't bring myself to accept it.

I let go of his shirt and I took a few steps back, taking a seat on the chair and relaxing my body on it. I took a deep relieving breath, letting my mind wander to Natalia's words earlier. Why did she think that I'd kill her father?

My eyes sprang open as I stared at Arthur. “You have to investigate the m******e, and why Natalia thinks I'm her dad's killer. Also, get me a ticket to the next meeting at the underground house. I need to speak with Alpha Jason urgently!” I declared, holding back the pain from the treatment he applied to my wounds.

After he was done, I grabbed my coat and left the bedroom to see Natalia..

Her bedroom was at the west part of the mansion, my most special place. My bedroom was just right beside hers, the West part of the mansion was a serene area, specifically designed for myself alone, unless Natalia who was an exception was there.

I stepped into the bedroom, my eyes staring directly at the sleeping woman in bed, she was covered with a duvet, her eyes were tightened shut, her face looked calm for the first time. Natalia might not remember me, but we'd met before during her thirteenth year's birthday when my family attended the celebration.

I fell in love with her at first sight and I've always been in love with her ever since. I yearned for her. I never thought that we would be mates. She was initially betrothed to my brother but after he refused the proposal, I had to step in. And that has been my best decision, if not that she didn't accept me yet because of our misunderstanding.

I couldn't let Noel have my woman! She slept so peacefully and looked extremely beautiful, I couldn't hold myself and my wolf made it worse. “Mine… claim our mate, Raymond” he said to me, but I had to fight the urge, controlling my blood hungry fangs back inside.

“I want her as much as you do, but now isn't the best time to have our mate, hunter!” I scolded him immediately.

Natalia, you're going to be mine no matter what!. I raised my fingers to touch her beautiful face, moving her disheveled hair behind her face and tucking them behind her ears. A swift movement from Natalia sent me jerking up, and in no time, she appeared behind me with her sharp popping claws pointing at my lower back.

“Don't you dare move, Alpha Raymond!” She threatened me, pressing her fangs in a bit. “You really shouldn't be doing this, little wolf!” I replied slowly.

“You have no right to dictate things to me, Alpha Raymond! Now, answer my questions, why did you kill my father and annihilate my pack? I already agreed to marry you, why did you do it?” She asked in an aggressive tone, her anger could be sensed.

I smiled to myself, knowing fully well that I could get her to succumb to me in one move, but I was going to let her have her way for now, since she was still grieving over the loss of her father and pack.

“I already told you, Talia, I do not have anything to do with the m******e. Now, let go of me or, I'll do it for you myself. And trust me little wolf, you do not want to see what I'll do to you!” I grinned, making a slight movement. I still realized that she was prepared to make an attack.

“I will kill you….” Natalia yelled out, I pulled myself out of her grip unexpectedly, appearing behind her back and I had my fingers wrapped around her neck, choking her tightly. “I warned you, didn't I?” I whispered to her ears.

“Let me go, Alpha Raymond!” her loud voice sounded, but that wasn't enough for me to leave her be

“No, Little Wolf, I'll have to teach you a lesson so you know who you're messing with!” I declared.
