Alpha Raymond had his hands wrapped around my body with his filthy body touching the exposed parts of mine. My body heated up immediately and my p***y throbbed. There was no doubt that I wanted him, but he was the same man who killed my father. My fate in his hands is cruel, I cannot stand this!

“Let me go, you bastard!” I tried to struggle, but his iron grip didn't even flinch. “Words, woman! Do not use cuss words on me!” He warned me. But I was happy to see the unpleasant looks on his face.

“Oh, you do have emotions, alpha Raymond?” I asked him.

“I do have emotions, but you shouldn't trigger the worse sides of me!”

“Oh, right? I wouldn't want you to kill me. I still have to avenge my father's death”

“For the last time, woman. I did not kill your father!” He responded.

“I f*****g saw you do it, Raymond. You killed him, you did! You should've just killed me instead, my father did absolutely nothing to you, I saw you pull the trigger on him!”

“What? You must of misunderstood me, I did not kill him”

“Then prove it!” I yelled out in rage.

“Natalia, do not make things difficult for me as it already is. I didn't kill your father, and I will prove it when I find the real killers” Raymond stated.

He pulled out of my body, turning away to leave. My rage grew as I saw him leaving. I looked around and the only thing I could Lay my hands on was the flower vase on the side drawer. The chains restricted my movements but I was good at throwing things.

I practiced a lot before fighting in wars with my father. Before he reached the door, raising his hands to touch the knob, I threw the vase against him. He dodged it at once, without any difficulties.

Alpha Raymond turned his gaze towards me, his eyes flashed green in rage. I knew I was done for but I wasn't giving any chances. He dashed towards me swiftly and grabbed my neck. I was choking, my body quivered and no matter how much I struggled, I was unable to make him stop.

“Murderer…” I groaned out, and he immediately let go of me. I looked at his eyes which were filled with guilt and rage. Alpha Raymond was definitely hiding something, he surely had a hand in my father's death even though he tried so hard to deny it. It was written all over his face obviously.

He moved a few steps away from me, and he said, “We are getting married in a few days, get ready to deal with it, Natalia.”

“W… what? No! You cannot do that. Alpha Raymond, I do not want to get married to you” I declared loudly.

The door opened shortly, revealing his beta who brought in a document file with him. Raymond took it, inspected it and then threw it at me. “The betrothal agreement, signed by your father. It's been stated already, and there's nothing you can do about it” he explained.

“No.. this can't happen” I replied in fear.

“We can settle this. How much do you want in order to let me go, Raymond?”

I asked, and his face darkened. He came closer to me and leaned forward. “Natalia, you can offer me the whole world if you want. But right now, there's nothing I want more in this world than making you my Luna” He declared.

Raymond exited the bedroom alongside his Beta. I crawled quickly to the other side of the bed where he'd left the documents for him. How could father do this? He trusted Raymond blindly and sold me off to him. Now, I'm unable to investigate his death the ways I want to.

I looked around in the silent room, my movements had been restricted by these chains. I wanted to leave so bad, I do not want to be here or get married to Raymond.

RAYMOND

“Send a few maidens over to help her wash up and give her breakfast. Also, call Loretta over. I'll need her to help me with Natalia. She needs to be trained how to act like a Luna,” I ordered.

A series of files were handed to me by Arthur and I curiously looked at them. “Are these for the meeting tonight?” I asked. He nodded his head immediately.

“Fine, send them over my mail and I'll look at them. You know I hate reading words in books, " I complained.

“I already sent them, boss. These are just duplicates for the others” he explained.

“Fine, then get everything prepared.” I ordered, watching him leave me.

I head back to my bedroom to freshen up and prepare for my meeting. After taking a cold bath in the bathroom, I returned to find my mobile phone ringing.

It was Loretta, my female assistant. “Hello, Alpha.. You summoned me over” she said in a meek tone. I tightened my grip on the mobile phone in rage. I'd already warned her never to address me at such a time again.

“I found my mate, Loretta. But she needs to be worked on a little. Arthur will contact you with the details” I explained.

“W.. wait. What? Raymond, are you serious?” She asked me, feeling surprised. I already knew where she was heading but I owed her no explanation. “I will be expecting you tonight!” I said upon ending the phone call.

I stood facing the mirror, opening the drawer and bringing out some alcohol. Pouring it over the wounds on my chest m, it's healed a little, Thanks to Arthur's treatments. Since the curse many years ago, without being fully mated with my fated mate, I could not heal from any wounds with my powers. Instead, I healed like a human man.

It was getting frustrating, and here I was, being accused of murder by my mate. No matter what, I am never going to let go of Natalia. Even though our family had a history, I didn't ever plan to annihilate the pack or kill Alpha Stone..

Someone else must've been responsible for it and I must have it investigated in order to claim her trust. I finished up with my wounds and when I took back my mobile phone, Arthur had sent me a text concerning the meeting. There were also a few texts by Loretta.

Finding my mate must've come as a shock to her because she knew I was cursed. Loretta had been my childhood friend for years and I was aware of her feelings towards me. I ignored it, because of our relationship as friends. She must've been so broken just now.

I needed her help with Natalia, I know how hard it'll be for her but I'll have to get her to do it. As soon as I'd finished putting on my clothes, a loud banging noise hit my door which turned out to be one of my guards.

“Alpha, She is being violent with the maids” she reported to me quickly. I clenched my fist tightly. “Talia, you're going too far with this!” I exited the room immediately.
