Chapter Thirty-three Angelina Smythe-Baker was the centre of attention the following day as she paraded to the witness box. Her symmetrical doll-like features were accentuated by luxurious blonde hair and wide blue eyes, and she was dressed in a light pink designer suit which Matthew felt was intended to convey both vulnerability and trust. After giving her name and an address, care of her agent, she stated her occupation as ‘television personality’, probably at the suggestion of the same agent.
