Chapter Fourteen It was just after 6 pm when Matthew pulled up outside the fibro house. Armed with a bottle of expensive red wine, he bounded up the front steps, opened the unlocked screen door and then rapped on the front door. After a few minutes, the door opened and a bleary-eyed, unshaven Angelo came into view. ‘Time for a chat,’ Matthew announced. Angelo shook his head. ‘Not a good time, mate. I’ll give you a ring.’ With that, he attempted to close the door, but Matthew had already planted his foot between the door and the jamb.
