Chapter 7: Reaper’s Surprise

1297 Words
I took the Passport, knowing that I needed a little more room for everyone to fit. I got to the airport when their flight still had another 10 minutes before landing. It was then that I realized I don’t even know the names of the people that I’m picking up let alone what they look like. I picked up the phone and called Bones. Again, he picked up on the first ring, “Sweetheart, please tell me they aren’t giving you trouble already.” I laughed, not sure what I was getting myself into and said, “No, Bones. I still have time before their flight lands. But I realized I don’t even know who I am picking up or their names.” I think the realization hit Bones just as it had me. “Oh, s**t, that may be helpful to know their names, but something tells me, you’ll know them when you see them. But I sent some of the best ones for you, Reaper, Dom, and Patch. They don’t sound like much, but you’ll be fine with them, he said. “Bones, do you think I could ask two of them to do me a big favor and ride the two bikes I have back to Port Angeles? Or do you think that’s too long of a ride,” I asked. I heard a deep rumble of a laugh on the other end of the line, “sweetheart, did Ryan ever talk about us or tell you about the Iron Sons?” “Well, no, I guess he didn’t. I only learned about you recently. But, I’m guessing it’s some sort of club right?” “Something like that. Why don’t you tell Reaper to call me when he gets to you. And don’t worry, they will protect you and see that you’re safe to get here. But I have to go and I will see you soon,” he said before hanging up. I got out of the car and walked in to the airport terminal. That’s when I saw the three men. Bones was right, I knew it the minute I saw them. Two of them were some of the most handsome men I’ve ever seen. One was average height, maybe 5’10” with a bald head and tattoos covering most of him. He had bright icy blue eyes and dark eyelashes that contrasted them very well. He, along with the rest of them, had a white shirt on with a leather vest on over it. But you can tell that every one of them are built very well. The other two are at least 6’ and one has long blonde hair while the other has pitch black hair. Both are dressed like the first, and none of them have bare skin. They walked over to me and two of them were very personable, while the dark haired one was quiet and reserved. The bald one introduced himself as Dom. He had the cutest dimples and apparently got his nickname from Fast and the Furious because he reminded the ladies of Dom. He wouldn’t tell me his real name, but I’m assuming it’s something he’s teased about with the way the blonde one laughed at him when I asked. The blonde one introduced himself as Patch. Apparently he had been an army medic and patched everyone up. That tradition continued over to the club when several of his brothers had been stabbed or shot, and he patched them up. Then the last one, Reaper, the dark haired man introduced himself as Reaper. But he made it very clear that there was no way he was giving an explanation to some outsider. Point was taken, and I didn’t ask again. The boys jumped in the car, with the exception of Reaper. He attempted to drive, but that wasn’t happening. No damn way in hell. So when he opened the door, I said, “Thank you,” and jumped in the driver seat. He was not happy, but got in the passenger seat anyways. That’s when I remembered that Bones had asked for me to get Reaper to call him. When I told him, he called immediately. Obviously I couldn’t hear what Bones said, but I could hear Reaper but I pretended not to listen. He said “got it” and “on it” mostly, but not much else. I could feel him look at me, but I didn’t acknowledge him. I just finished my drive and let them know it wouldn’t be much longer. As I pulled into the driveway, it registered to me that I needed to tell them about Bo. Of course, Reaper had to shut me down and let me know that he wasn’t scare of “my little boyfriend,” but little did he know, Bo is my dog. he completely ignored the rest of what I was saying and started to walk around my house like he was checking the perimeter. This would take him a little bit considering the houses quite large. While he continued to ignore me, I talked with Dom and Patch and told them about Bo to make sure neither one of them had any fear of dogs or allergies. Luckily, neither one of them did. But, that’s not necessarily the case when it comes to reaper. Apparently, there were a few times where he’s been bitten by a dog, so they’re not exactly his favorite. I giggled a little bit knowing that Bo can do a lot of damage, but decided that since he cut me off, it was his own fault to not know before he walked in the front door. It was getting kind of late. I figured they were getting as hungry as I was. I just asked if they all liked pizza, as I figured they all did. So, my next question was what they liked on the pizza. Reaper was still outside so I didn’t get to ask him, but the boys said he’s a human garbage disposal so I wasn’t too worried. I know the best place, Papa Vincenzo’s. The locals around here just call it Vinny’s, they have the best pizza. They will also deliver beer to your house to eat with the pizza or wine if you choose. Given the fact that I had bikers in my house, wine didn’t really sit right, so I ordered two large supreme pizzas, 2 12 packs of Miller Liite,, and a large peach sweet tea. I knew I had plenty of Coke in the house, so I didn’t have to worry about ordering that. Vinny’s is usually pretty quick about getting your food made and delivered, but considering it was a day through the week, it would be even faster. The only issue is is that this is Dylan‘s family’s pizza place. Right as I was finishing ordering, Reaper opened up the front door. Bo was on high alert because he didn’t see Reaper come in with me. He was at the door in an instant and for a few seconds it looked like Reaper might actually s**t his pants. I laughed, I couldn’t control it. He looked me dead in the eye and said “can you call off this monster of a dog?“ I called for Bo and told him it was OK. It was only then that I saw the color come back to Reaper’s face.“Why the hell didn’t you tell me you had a moose of a dog“ I looked at him with a stern face and reminded him that I tried to tell him about Bo, but he only wanted to tell me that he didn’t want to hear about my “little boyfriend.“
