Lyandra's POV I immediately rushed into the shower knowing I was already late for work . I really need to get that alarm fixed . I took a three minutes shower , wore my clothes and rushed to work. I walked into the cafe and I was welcomed by my boss who to my surprise was in a very pleasant mood. "Lyandra, oh, I thought you were in an accident and you were not coming to work?" "What are u......." I then saw my co- worker s***h best friend wink at me. "Ooh that accident yes the doctor said I was fine to go, am sorry for coming late sir." "It's okay get up to work," He walked in his office while I put on my apron. As I approached her she glared at me . "Am sorry and thank you girl." I said with an awkward smile . "Mhm." She said accepting my hug. I then went to turn the open sign and switched on the TV. "We interrupt this viewing to bring you breaking news , it has been reported that there has been an insight of mafias entering hillbrooke all netizens are advised to close their workplaces early and lock their doors," I looked at Vivian with a worried look , mafias were not a good thing in this town and it wouldn't be the first time they invaded it. Soon customers started arriving and we served them happily. Hours later it was closing time , I bid Vivian goodbye and headed on home. As I was walking I couldn't help but get this feeling that I was being followed but whenever I looked back there was no one . I held on to my bag tightly and walked faster . My heart was beating very fast and I started running then I bumped into something hard . "Ouch!" "Well well well Lyandra in the flesh," a man said in a deep voice . When I looked up I was met with the most gorgeous green eyes, he was a tall figure with charcoal black hair , he then smiled as he extended his arm to pick me up and he hard the most dazzling smile his pearl white teeth shone in moonlight ,I gave him my hand and he picked me up effortlessly. I then retreated and pulled back and he released a deep chuckle and my heart went crazy but wait how did he know my name ? I turned around as realisation dawned on me and I ran as fast as my two short legs would carry me , he took hold of my hand and his expression to a serious one . I remembered my training and kicked him in the balls and run away. I soon reached home and locked the locked the door with every lock possible. "Lyandra, honey is that you?"my mother,Lira, called from the kitchen. "Yes mom " I said and went and kissed her cheek I went to my room and washed up my heart was still beating very fast I had a bad feeling about this. At dinner I told my parents everything and looked at each other with worried looks . Who was he and when was he going to strike next?
