CHAPTER 14

COME UNDONE Sonya's pov Two weeks have passed since Callum's confession, I have not heard anything from him since then. A part of me wanted to see him again, mostly because I still couldn't wrap my head around the fact that he apologized and it seemed genuine. I was dying to know if he had meant it or it was just a phase. Somehow, I convinced myself that if I see him one more time I'd be able to tell. But all that is pointless now, as much as I wanted to know his intentions, a large part of me never wanted to have anything to do with him again. My eyes were fixed on the streets as we drove to the show. Stacy in the passenger seat. I had decided to stay for a bit in LA to be with my parents and also build my brand with the help of my label. We got to the show and in no time, I was prepared to mount the stage and thrill the audience. I mounted the stage, full of courage; I can never get over the smiles and cheers I get from my fans whenever I perform. I smiled back “Good evening everyone” I said, grabbing the mic, just as the band started playing to tune me in. The melody was flowing and the crowd was thrilled. I felt alive, doing just what I loved best. After the performance, I celebrated with my team for a while. We drank to the success of the performance. a while later, I walked out into the opened garden, a glass of bourbon in my hand. I couldn't help but admire the stars, the bright shimmers illuminating the sky in the most pretty way. I felt a lot happier than I ever felt for the past two weeks. I was tipsy and I felt free and forgot all about my worries. After a while,I decided to find my way back to my team, staggering from the influence of the liquor, I tripped on some pebbles in the garden, causing me to tumble, but before I could hit the ground, I felt a warm hand embrace me. looked up to see him staring. “ Callum,” I smiled broadly. Part of me knew I didn't want to give him such a warm welcome, but the liquor controlled me. “You are everywhere”I stuttered, giving him a light push. “ What do you want, Callum? A kiss?” I added, giving him a silly face. As we both chuckled in amusement. I watched as Sonya staggered through the opened garden. I had been following her since our last meet up but never muttered the courage to speak to her. I could tell she had drunk to stupor from the way she reacted when she saw me. I never knew Sonya to be an alcoholic, but it's been a year and a lot seemed to have changed about her. The woman before me was now different. “ Pretty sure you will regret saying that by tomorrow,”i declared, watching as she shoved her hair behind her ear. “Well I don't regret it now;” she gave me the same silly face as earlier. She looked even prettier than I had ever seen. “ You are more cheerful when tipsy” I added, as she took a sip of the liquor she had in her hand. “That's enough,” I said, taking the glass from her. “Don't kill the fun” she pouted “ You know, you used to be so uptight,” she continued. “Loosen up a bit Callum; it doesn't kill” she added, giggling “Fine,” I said “Good! How about that kiss” she said and in one swift moment, she landed a kiss on my lip. I gazed into her eyes, she had caught me by surprise as much as I felt happy about it, I knew she'd never have done it if she was sober. “ see… not so bad” she chuckled again. “You would have made a really good husband Callum” she pouted. “ But you ruined it” she pushed me with one of her fingers still pouting like a child. “You killed our baby”she placed her tender fingers on her cheek, feigning surprise. I knew she meant every one she said. I gazed at her, and there and then, it became crystal clear to me, I was in love with her. Just her, no one else. I watched as she talked about different things, I found her amusing in her drunken state. “I want more liquor,” she blurted, heading out. “Where are you going?” I yelled behind her. She was staggering. “ My apartment is across the street, I have some liquor In there;” she yelled, looking back and winking at me. I couldn't recall sober Sonya to be a flirt, I laughed as I followed behind her. She could nearly walk, there was no way I'd let her cross the street all by herself. We got into her apartment, it was all cozy. I watched as she grabbed a glass and poured herself some liquor. “ Want some?” she asked, stretching the glass towards me. “ I am leaving” I said, “Maybe some other time” I made for the door, knowing she was now safe. “Don't be silly”she said, dashing towards me She landed the most passionate kiss I have ever had. Her force sent me crashing against the door……………. I pulled away, as much as I liked the kiss, I didn't want her to think I took advantage of her. “Common Callum; you want this” she pushed further, thrusting her tongue deep into my mouth. I wanted to push her away and leave, but a larger part of me wanted to continue. It felt like I had been longing for it. I drew away, gazing at her as she gasped for breath; her oven-blue eyes piercing into mine in that moment, I couldn't fight the urge anymore…. My lips crashed on hers, taking her tongue in, savoring the warmth of her mouth against mine. I could taste the liquor still lingering in her mouth. I sucked on her lower lips for a bit before trailing kisses down her neck. She gasps, her free hands caressing the back of my neck. I trailed down to her boobs, loosening the buttons of the silk shirt she had on. In no time her rigid breasts were in full view, her n*****s reddened. I lowered my head, brushing my lips against them, before taking it into my mouth. “Arghh” she moans into my ear, her fingers now drilling into my skin. In one swift movement, I lifted her, her legs wrapped around my body as I made for the bed. She giggled, her movement all wobbly as she pushed down her panties before I could. I could see the wetness drip between her legs, she was needy…..
