Yes, it was hard seeing Liam and Sam together while their fathers went on and on about how perfect of a couple they were, but even that was better than being in a room with a man who threatened me at dinner and another man who scared the hell out of me. “Sit,” Mr. Calhoun said, as he ushered me to this beautiful leather couch that I had sat on earlier.
I just shook my head and took a seat. I had no idea what he wanted from me. I had told him everything I knew from what happened to my parents and the three attacks, so there was no other reason I could think of for him to summon me, unless he found something out about my parents.
