It had been two weeks since Neffi and I broke up. I tried calling her, texting her, showing up at her dorm, class, even stalking her, but she never responded. It was as if I had become invisible and I didn’t like it. The worst part was that the semester was over, and I was being forced to spend my month-long break with my biological family and away from Neffi.
