“Why are we out here again? I thought father grounded us until next week, and I still have to finish getting things ready for Neffi’s birthday tomorrow,” I said, angrily to my brother who was sitting in the driver's seat of an old upgraded Chevy. He had tricked me into riding with him after claiming that it wouldn’t be far or for too long; however, we had been driving for well over an hour and we were on the opposite side of town. While our father’s territory was vast, the part of town that my i***t brother had taken us was not in it. It was what they called no man’s land. No one owned it and while it could be considered common ground, that never stopped other people from starting something. At least that’s how Seb explained it.
