Chapter 9Raphael
The ship set sail from the port of Alirie. It would take them a few days to drop anchor onshore of the Fertile Land. Dante never missed a sunrise, or a sunset, over the ocean. He has changed since he first entered Elden Palace. He was attractive before, but after two and a half weeks of healthy meals and proper sleep, he had put on some healthy weight, and his skin was smoother.
He was smiling every time he looked at the breathtaking view. Despite everything he’s been through, in rare moments, there was this humble gratitude for being in the present, for the privilege of still existing in this world. Raphael couldn’t look away, and knew instantly that there was a mountain of wisdom he could learn from him.
The memory of kissing him never faded.
