Chapter Three ISAAC Isaac Reed paced the poorly lit public restroom. The slim tube of white-blue light dangling above the mirror flickered endlessly, unpredictably plunging the room into microseconds of darkness in which the only thing that was visible in the mirror was his shining, topaz eyes. The flickering was giving him a headache. The bastard was late again!
