Chapter Four: Weird Feeling

Pag pasok ko sa bahay ay para akong baliw na ngumingiti mag isa, we just met this day but I can already feel the butterflies in my stomach. How can a guy do that?
"Hija, what are you doing?" Dad asked me from the CCTV.
Parang nanlamig buong pagkatao ko nang marinig ko ang boses ni Dad, what the f**k. Bakit naka lagay ang CCTV sa pintuan? Alam ko nasa living room ito kanina bago ako umalis!
"Hi Dad, how are you" I waved at the camera awkwardly.
"Why did you come home late young lady?" I can hear a glimpse or teasing from his voice.
"I ate at the cafe near here with the new student at school" I casually said and removed my shoes so I can avoid looking at the camera.
"Oh, new student huh? Is he the reason why you are smiling at the door?" He said then I heard him laugh.
"Dad it's not what you are thinking okay" saad ko at pinagsama lahat ng gamit ko.
I gave it to my maid and kinuha naman niya agad. Iniwan ko na ang mga gamit ko sa living room at pumasok na sa cr sa first floor.
Pagkatapos ko maligo ay lumabas ako nang naka bath robe at umakyat na sa kwarto ko.
Pagkapasok ko sa kwarto ay nakita ko agad si Sage sa bintana, he is smoking in his balcony na kaharap ko lang.
Inirapan ko siya nang kawayan niya ako kaya pumunta na rin ako sa balcony ko.
"You should change your clothes, it looks bad if you are going to smoke wearing that" saad ko kasi naka uniform pa siya.
"You are right. And you, you should wear your clothes now lady" he said then smirk.
Saktong pag sabi niya non ay tumunog ang phone ko.
Tinignan ko agad kung sino ang nag chat at I figured out na sinabi na agad ni Daddy yung nangyari kanina kaya full of teasing from my Kuya and Dad ang laman ng Viber ko.
Napa buntong hininga ako bago mag reply sa kanila.
Phoebe:
Dad, I told it's not what you're thinking diba, no need to tell Kuya
Kuya:
Why not? You sound defensive Phoebe
Dad:
Your mom thinks that too haha
I sighed one more time at ginawa na ang routine ko bago pumunta sa baba para kumain.
"Ate what's for dinner po?" Saad ko habang bumababa ng hagdan.
"Ano bang gusto mo? Mag luluto pa lang ako eh" saad niya mula sa kusina.
"Cook what's in the fridge na lang po, I'll buy some ramen for me later e, cravings" saad ko at lumabas na.
I'm wearing a hoodie and short, it's good for a late night walk.
I wore my earphone while walking then embrace the breeze of the wind. I really love this time, I can enjoy peace and the creation of god.
Kaunti lang ang mga street lights but it's not scary at all, in fact, I love this kind of view.
Malapit na ako sa korean store nang may kumuha ng isang earphone ko.
Muntik na akong sumigaw but I hold back kasi na recognize ko agad kung sino yung kumuha.
"Sage naman" saad ko habang naka hawak sa dibdib ko na para bang natakot sa kaniya.
"Sorry, I just want to hear what's your music taste, and guess what, it's lame" he smiled, teasing me.
"Excuse me, I'm sorry if I'm not like you who's listening to some music who have bad words in it" saad ko at inirapan siya.
"Excuse me too, kid. But my music taste is not like those, it's more meaningfull unlike yours" he said whith full of sassyness.
"Oh really? What kind of songs?" I said back.
"Sorry, but I'm the kind of person who loves gate keeping precious things" he smirk.
Sinamaan ko lang siya nang tingin at binilisan mag lakad, nakakainis lang siya kausap grabe.
While walking, he held my wrist at sinabayan ako mag lakad.
"Give me your phone" saad niya, not asking, it seems like an order dahil kinuha niya agad phone ko nang walang pa akong nasasabi.
"Let me show you what the real music is" saad niya na may maliit na ngiti sa mukha.
Nakarating na kami sa korean store kaya di na namin napakinggan agad.
"Let's listen to it when we're going home" he said and I just nod.
We minded our own business kaya paalis na ako agad kasi I will eat it at home, ewan ko lang kay Sage.
"Are you going to eat it here or you'll take it home too?" I asked.
Nag isip siya saglit "I'll take it home why?" He said and I nod, ignoring his question. I don't even know why I asked him.
"Nothing, I thought I'll judge your music taste alone" saad ko at dumiretso na sa counter.
"Kapag napakinggan mo na, wag mo ipagkalat na music taste ko yon, ayokong pag agawan ng mga girlies na bare minimum enjoyer" saad niya and natawa ako slight.
It is true, in this generation madaming babae ngayon ang naiinlove just because of the guy's music taste, they said it's a pampapogi points, but I swear it does not make them more handsome or whatsoever.
"I thought you are one of the guys who's clout chasing their music taste, I hope it's good. Maybe I'll consider you as a friend if it's so good" I said while the cashier is packing the things I bought.
Madami akong binili for my midnight snack later, we don't have assignment so I want to watch a Kdrama later, and Kdrama is boring without korean snack or food.
Kay Sage naman, binili niya is pang isang buong ramen lang like it is his dinner for tonight.
"Let's go" He said nang mabayaran niya na ang binili niya.
"Are you living alone" I asked while walking.
"Yes, my driver and maids are on their way here, I can't live alone yet I'm doing everything so that I won't live with my parents" he said without a hint of sadness.
"How about you? You don't live with your parents?" He asked.
"Yeah, I want to be independent but I can't live alone too. Well I can cook and do every chores but you know, I'm afraid of living alone" I said and he laughed.
"Don't tell me you're scared of ghost" he said laughing.
"Then I won't tell you" I said then smile.
I really like his laugh.
