Synopsis
Carrie needed a vacation after working long hours. Her best friend, Terrie, gave her the keys to her family’s cabin so Carrie could get some R&R; but what neither didn’t realize, was that Terrie’s husband had already given his best friend, Mike, the keys to the same cabin for a the weekend. At first, the pair doesn’t hit off as Mike seems interested in football games with the friends he invites over. But when Carrie fails to return back after a short walk, Mike begins to get worried and leaves his friends to look for her. As the two become closer when they are snowed in for a few days until they are rescued. After the rescue, Carrie is faced with a difficult diagnosis which brings Mike and Carrie even more closely to an engagement, wedding and honeymoon, and a surprising announcement at the end of the story.
