Chapter 62 RYAN AND LEONARD HAD woken up together as one for the first time, both pleased to see that their new dual awareness was permanent. It was dark outside, already after nightfall. ‘Strap yourself in Leonard, you’re in my world now,’ said Ryan as they strode out into the night and headed for Ryan’s favourite drinking hole. They walked into the bar like they owned the place. Ryan ordered a whiskey and a beer and Leonard enjoyed the burning sensation of the alcohol as it made its way down his throat and into his stomach, feeling the heat all the way down. Leonard even enjoyed Ryan’s usual greasy burger and chilli fries, being such a change from the steamed chicken breast and stir-fried vegetables that were his common fare.
