Chapter 61 ‘TIME FOR A SHOWDOWN, Leonard,’ said Ryan. After the night’s exertions with Ellen and the long drive back to the apartment, Ryan was spent. But there was no way he would sleep tonight. He resolved to push through until daybreak. It was time for him to see the sun. He cleaned up, showered, watched TV, ate some supper, drank some soda, looked through the apartment, even found his own letters that he had written to Leonard. It was so surreal! Whenever he started drifting off to sleep, he got up and walked around, even going outside for a few minutes of fresh air now and then. Dawn broke.
