‘SPECIAL AGENT SIMON Winter,’ came the announcement from the stage.
As I made my way up to receive my graduation certificate, I was struck by the circuitous path of twists and turns that had led me to this moment. I looked at Melissa standing in the crowd, with Bobby sitting on her shoulders, both smiling and madly waving at me.
I felt such gratitude for my life, for the lessons I had learnt and the person I had become. Recovering from serious addiction, losing a loved one, finding redemption and then making amends.
