August's P.O.V
"Wait, wait, wait. You're telling me I'm free to come even though I don't go to school anymore?" I ask Rafaela, baffled about this very information.
They were visiting me again, all three of them. Layla was, again, behind of Pharsa, who is still ignoring her. The three of them said they were ecstatic when they heard from the Principal. They told me how the three of them were called to the Principal's Office in between classes just to tell them this.
"I was confused at first and suspicious why he would ask you to come as well." Earl says.
"Me, too. But then he told us how you calmed him down and reminded him of emergency protocols." Sarah gave me a nod of approval before giving me a thumbs up. Pharsa glares at me like I had done some criminal activities.
I keep on trying to ignore Pharsa's constant glares and murderous aura for a while now. She really is scary, I tell you. Her eyes dilating tells me that she's ready to take my head any moment now. I'm even afraid to sleep here now, that's why I almost always sleep at Rafaela's.
I remember barging in the Principal's office when father befell danger to everyone and a warning to me and the other gods. That's what he meant, right? That oh so faithful day. He must be really grateful for telling me to come and cover all the expenses.
"That was the day that someone saw you fend off the lightning." Rafaela says, and then felt guilty.
"I remember you denying the existence of deities." Earl laughed while pointing at Rafaela. Rafaela pouted at the act of humor that Earl portrayed. I giggled as well, remembering that day. How these two defended my existence from the denying Rafaela.
"It was that bad?" Mine asks.
"You didn't know?" Pharsa asks. The news spread in Olympus, but I'm surprised that Mine doesn't know.
"I did, but I thought it was just light rain or something." Pharsa scoffs and waves her hand.
"What? No. The grounds shook, you know."
"It did! I was scared to death!" Sarah bursts out, making Pharsa unnecessarily blush.
She is so infatuated with Sarah that I'm even surprised she came this far without doing anything. She could at least confess or try and make it clear before Sarah completely draws the line. I look over at Rafaela and remembered how I bravely crossed the line that day.
Rafaela turns to me and smiles at me, which made me flustered. I looked away but there was no way she didn't see me flustered. I'm guessing Rafaela is giggling about it right now. I peeked and she really was giggling about it. I averted my gaze and stared straight at the table.
"I'm surprised you could deflect Zeus' lightning yourself."
"I was surprised as well." I sigh. That day was a mind breaking day for me.
I see Layla sparing me a glance through my peripheral vision before returning her attention to the back of Pharsa's head.
"You have something to say, Layla?" she was always doing this. Whenever she wants to be heard or if she wants to hear something, she looks at me for me to announce it.
"Ah, I was just thinking how you're so overpowered from the start." she didn't spare me a glance again.
"I've sad that once. It was crazy how good she was from the start." Mine boasted, feeling proud all of a sudden.
"Uh, can we stop talking about me? It's embarrassing."
"Aw, acting so shy like a baby." Sarah coos and teases me at the same time.
"Definitely. Definitely Rafaela's smile." Earl clicks his tongue and did a little dance with his fingers and body, wiggling his bottom on the sofa, earning him a leer from Sarah, which made him stop squirming.
I shake my head and facepalmed myself.
"You're so embarrassing."
"Hey, I'm still your friend."
"Yes, and I can't believe it."
"As if. I'm cool." they started bickering again.
"Go with me, please?" Rafaela asks, pleading with puppy eyes. I can't resist. She's too adorable! She's too beautiful and too irresistible for me to object.
I should go over this one more time.
"I'm sorry but I don't want to risk your guys' lives for me." my answer made Sarah and Earl stop bickering.
"What? It's just three days and two nights." Pharsa persuades me but my decision is final.
"I'm sorry. Everyone in Olympus already knows and we've been visited by the Divine Council the other day. The gods are angry, even Hercules came by. I don't want to risk it all."
Was what I recall saying but how come when I woke up, I was on the bus with a bunch of excited teenagers. My hands were tapped behind my back and I had duck tape on my mouth. I look to my side, scared. Rafaela turns to me with a scary smile on her face. I began to sweat like crazy.
"Good morning, August. How was your sleep?"
"Hmm hmm mhummm mpummm!"
"Oh. sorry! I forgot you couldn't speak." and whose fault is that!
She removes the tape without removing the horrifying smile on her face. It made me shut up. I wasn't so stupid as to scream and interrogate her. If they were ready to abduct me and put tape over my mouth, then they must be ready to do the same thing again.
"So, what did you say?" she asks in a nice and gentle voice, but I know deep down, she wanted to laugh at me. She's so rough with me but I don't really mind it. Ack, what am I saying. Am I a masochist or something?
"Uh, uhm," I gulped, second guessing if I should voice it out, "how, how did you guys bring me here?" I feel a sweat travel down my navel as I fear for my safety.
The bus was noisy and it was obvious that everyone with us was oblivious to this situation that I was currently in.
"Mine gave you sleeping powder," she stated it so shamelessly.
"What? When did she-"
I remember drinking the tea that Mine made for us yesterday. It could be yesterday morning's breakfast but the effect shouldn't be that late. So my only guess is the tea that she made. I should've been cautious. She didn't pour us the teas, she just gave it to us one by one.
I remember asking for more but I was surprised when she said that there was no more tea when I had gone out shopping just the other day. I should've asked her then! The timing was so perfect but they were too smart and I was too complacent.
That i***t. I'll tell her off once we get there and once I see her! If I'm with Rafaela then Mine, Pharsa, Earl and Sarah are in a different bus. They're not classmates, as far as I've remembered. The bus drove past many trees until I see the city from a distance.
"We're having the trip in the city," she tells me, like she's calmed down or something. I turn to her and I was right. Her scary expression was gone and fascination was there instead. The excitement in her eyes, I could see them. They were sparkling in anticipation of the events.
"Can you untie me?"
"I know you can untie yourself." ah, she's right.
"You wanted to go yourself, but you're too afraid that you wanted all of our forced approval for you to actually know that we trust you, right?" I swift smile emerged from my lips.
I decimated the rope that kept my hand tied. It was so loosely done that even without using my abilities, I could easily escape from. I put an arm around Rafaela and she leans on my shoulder, relaxing her weight on to me. We take this moment in and look outside the bus.
"You're reading me like an open book." I stated. No one has ever understood me in an instant. No, maybe she did even before I realized it. She was always good at reading me.
Is this the capabilities of being a people pleaser kind of person? You know exactly what the others want without words being exchanged. It's scary how people can be easily pleased and be easily fooled.
"I know because you always put others before yourself."
"When did you discover that? I could be using other people for my personal gain." she intertwined our hands together. Her warmth felt warm.
"I knew when you decided to sacrifice your sanity for Sarah. I heard from Pharsa,"
"What did she say?"
"She told me how you were almost in a daze whenever you were engulfed with your own darkness and how you think it was dangerous."
"That woman," I sighed. Rafaela turns to me and looks me in the eyes.
"I always thought how you're so cool."
I shake my head.
"I brought this upon everyone. If you hadn't met me, then you wouldn't be in the run with me as well."
"Shush. I don't want to hear that from you when I decided this for myself." I giggle.
"Alright, so can you stop being scary now?"
"Oh, it worked then." she giggles and patted my hand that's intertwined with hers.
After a few more minutes and a few more topics, we finally arrived in the city. The bus parked and the students started to exit the bus one by one.
"We're here?" I asked as soon as I got off the bus.
Museum?
"Greek museum." she says.
The other busses arrived and I instantly saw Mine and Earl, then Pharsa and Sarah.
"I see that she didn't disappear." Pharsa stated nonchalantly, like she didn't commit k********g.
"Should I go then?" I attempted to walk away but Rafaela grabbed me by the ear, preventing me from walking away.
"Where are you going?" there it was again, her scary look. I immediately felt small and hopeless.
The others laughed at my pathetic state. Earl patted my back, saying silently that it was going to be okay. I feel like I'm internally crying.
"Students, form in lines, please." a teacher instructs us and the students immediately formed lines.
"See you later then!"
"Have fun!"
"Let's go!"
"Slaaaay,"
The others went away and it was me and Rafaela again, along with the students that we went with on the bus. Rafaela started to insert in the line while I stayed. I wasn't a student so I wasn't sure if the instruction was also applied to me.
"Oh, August, you can just go with Rafaela." the teacher says, making me nod.
We entered the museum and I wanted to laugh almost immediately. These were nothing like the real gods. The teacher kept on telling stories and facts about the gods respectively. There were statues and whatnot. I try to contain my laughter so hard that Rafaela noticed me.
"What are you giggling on about?" she whispers to me? Our voice echoes in this gigantic space, and it echoes multiple times. So even a tiny whisper can be heard. Thankfully, the teacher was blabbering on and on about anything so her whisper can't be the only thing that's heard.
"It's just.. haaahhh, they're so not real." I pointed to father's statue. It was so inaccurate, the details and the hair.
"What?" Rafaela giggles with me as the turns, contained by my own giggle.
"Oh," she sees what I see but then asks. "I haven't seen your father in his godly form yet."
"Oh, right," I stopped giggling, not feeling it.
The next statue I saw was that of Uncle Poseidon's and I immediately started laughing. They're just too animated to be even real. Poseidon's hair isn't that long, and so is his beard. I don't know where they got these images from. Well, at least their weapons are right. Father's lightning bolt, and Uncle Poseidon's trident, all that's left is Hades'.
"Next, we have Hades'," speaking of which.
I turned my head to Uncle Hades' statue and was surprised. His appearance was more similar to his real face than than father's and uncle Poseidon's but his weapon wasn't. What they sculpted is a wand, or a wizard staff. This is so illogical and so prejudiced. Hades' weapon is a bident.
"Why does it look like he's a wizard." Rafaela stated.
"He carries a bident. Same as Poseidon but with only two." she nods her head in understanding.
"How did you, human people, get the ideas of their existence?" she shrugs.
"Beats me."
We venture deeper into the museum and there was one thing bothering me.
"Why aren't there any titan sculptures?"
"If I remember correctly, they are deities too, right?"
"Yeah,"
"Well, we are taught that titans are bad creatures - I say creatures because humans don't know that they're gods as well." I nod my head. Okay, well, that makes sense.
"I see."
"Titans aren't all bad, right?" I shake my head, denying it.
"If I'm going to put it like this, then it's like the old versus the new."
"Really? That's simpler to understand."
After our little informative tour, we visited other sites before we drove to the hotel. I look around the room and was surprised that Rafaela and I are sharing a room with other students, who also happens to be girls.
"You share rooms?" I ask Rafaela who is changing her clothes without any care, but she had turned her back on the others while she faces me. Her big breasts, covered with a bra, was in front of my face.
"I figured you wouldn't know that," she huffs as she gets the clothing off of her body.
"Is this your first time on a trip, August?" a student asks me. I was shocked that someone else was willing to talk to me.
"Ah, ye-yes," I stuttered, feeling shy.
"Whoa. You must be homeschooled then," another student says as she changes her clothes as well.
Rafaela redirects my face to her body, making me nervous all of a sudden. She continued stripping in front of me and made sure that my eyes don't wander off to the others.
"I, uh, I was," I'm barely controlling myself here.
We haven't done it in so long that I feel like I'm ready to attack Rafaela right here and right now, regardless of who watches.
"So, when did you two get together?" another asks. I gulp.
"Ah, I, I forgot." my mind was almost blank. I was thinking of nothing else but Rafaela's large breasts.
"Rafaela will get mad, you know. It's a girl's dream to celebrate the day that you unite." of course I remember it, I'm just too focused at Rafaela's almost naked body right now to even dig the information in my brain.
"You guys are so bold." another comments. I gulp.
"Are you sure you want to do this with everyone else here?" I whisper to Rafaela but she just smirked at me before turning around, and letting me see her ass. They were so bouncy and so firm that I wanted to smack her ass.
"Hey, August,"
"Yes, yes?" I closed my eyes and kept my focus on the conversation. Rafaela is almost done changing her clothes, so I was glad for that. Finally, my mind can finally be at ease.
"We're sorry we couldn't talk to you when you were with us before."
"Oh, it's nothing."
I hear clothes being put on and being slid down. This is such a naughty thing to do to your lover, Rafaela! Others are changing their clothes as well. Aren't they a bit nervous awkward that I'm here? That I like women? WHY are they freely changing when I'm here? Right, because Rafaela is here and she knows damn well herself that she stands above everyone else.
"We regretted not making your stay at Raven High School memorable."
"That's true."
Rafaela was now done changing and sitting next to me. She hugs my arm, sandwiching my arm on her free breasts. I felt the soft sensation wrapping around my arm. I was glad that I'm not Austin right now or I might get an erection. Gosh, why am I even here and why are they changing in here when there are bathrooms!
"I wanted to befriend you but you were so strikingly beautiful that I freeze."
"I know what you mean. I instantly freeze up when August in near me."
"If you so much spare them a glance, I'll gauge your eyes out." Rafaela whispers sweetly to my ear. That was a threat, right? Right? Am I even gonna survive this and fight the other gods or is Rafaela the reason for my death? Oh, I hope not.
"Oh, it's okay. I was too shy to even approach you guys." I stated and kept averting my eyes. I don't know where to look. The floor had some of their underwear there, the beds as well and even the chairs and tables.
Undergarments were everywhere that I can't just look anywhere. Rafaela is right beside me, humming a tune that I'm not familiar with and smiles at everyone while keeping her grip on my arm.
"We'll make it up to you in this trip."
"Yeah, we'll have lots of fun."
"We'll enjoy this to the fullest with you!"
We had our dinner and the group wanted to meet before bed time. Rafaela and I went together since we stay in the same room. She didn't let go of my arm at all. She kept on clinging to me. Maybe she's afraid that I might get lost.
"Yo,"
"So, how was the first day?"
"They're so different from the real ones."
"I know, right? Except for Hades though."
"Yeah, but they made him look like a wizard."
"How was your first day with a murderous Rafaela?"
I shiver at the thought. We talked for a bit before we decided to go back.
"You didn't spare them a glance."
"Well, of course I didn't." I push Rafaela to the wall and slammed my head on the side of her head.
"You're more than I need."
And we shared a passionate kiss in the hallways.
