I stood there speechless at the sight before me. Vincent lay on the ground lifeless. Ajax rested his body on his father. He defended his body from anyone trying to get near him. Even if it was to help.
"Vincent," I muttered under my breath, pulling Ajax's attention towards me. I stepped closer towards them, Ajax jumped from his father's body,running up to me and blocking my view as he wrapped his arms around me. Tears poured down his cheeks and pooled onto my shoulder as he sobbed into my neck. I held him for a moment, trying to console the pain that we both shared in that moment.
"Don't look, Aurora. Please." He begged through tears as he hugged me even tighter. He pulled away for a short moment and pushed my hair from my face, looking deep into my eyes. I joined in his
