I woke covered in sweat and panting. "Ahh." I breathed a sigh of relief. It was just a nightmare. I rubbed my eyes and got out of bed, a chill covered my body. I shivered slightly. "That's odd." I thought to myself, but shrugged at the thought. I began walking through to the on-suite. I made a hot steaming bath to calm me down. As soon as it was ready, I climbed into it and let my body sink underneath the water. Welcoming the warmth that spread over me.
"Saph, why do we feel cold? We should never feel cold." I linked her.
"I think we are suffering the effects of the mate bond, Rory." She answered me.
