Chapter 2 (╬)

Victor swung open the classroom door, and he could see that it's music teaching period. All eyes were on him, And another murmuring raised again, but this time all the girls were swaying their hairs left and right, murmuring how cute victor Talbot is, Claire looked up to know why the students are murmuring so loud only to see that rude boy who disgraced her in the school bus earlier in the morning.

Miss. Angela, who is the musical teacher greeted and welcomed the unknown new student to the class.

“may we know your name?” she asked smiling.

“victor ” he replied immediately.

“oh my gosh, his voice is so thick ” a female student whispered to her friends.

Another student named Miranda, practically she's the best musical student of Edinburgh, she's the best in so many aspects of music, and also a good musical instrumentalists that is why she is Miss.Angela favourite. Although she doesn't feel fascinated about this victor, Claire happened to be the one sitting near Miranda.

"Oh, yes we also have another new student, it will be really bad of me not to introduce her to the class also" Miss Angela announced.

"Uhn?" Filled the atmosphere of the music classroom.

Miranda looked beside her and got to know it's Claire since she has not seen that kinda face before in class, not even in the school terrain.

“yes Claire, please stand up and introduce yourself to the class” miss. Angela called out.

Victor hissed silently at her sight.

Claire's heart pounded really fast, she's a shy kind of person, and managed to speak up.

“hi everyone am Claire cosgrove.” she has to stop there cos she felt nothing more to tell.

Everyone turned away their gaze from her and she felt a relief. Miranda noticed her and kept mute.

“uhm, ok, now victor kindly pick a seat”miss.Angela pointed towards an empty seat at the back row of the class.

As victor passes the class aisle, most female points him to seat beside them, so do some guys who found him interesting to be part of their cool guys gang.

“ok, class please focus”Miss Angela said as she pulled out her violin string and begin to play according to a nice tune followed by some students getting it right and some not.

Victor sat at Claire's front,

“why is it that she's always wherever I am” he thought to himself at the sight of Claire, who is sitting behind him.

The next fourth bell rang for lunch, and so it's break time for the students of Edinburgh, and their history class was dismissed.

As Claire was packing her books back into her school bag, Miranda decides to get to know more about the new girl.

“so Claire you bear, ”she spoke aloud, since it just the two of them in class.

“yes!” Claire replied with a trembling voice.

“oh no did I scare you,?"Miranda said with a low voice and this time she made her voice sound sweet. "Am sorry” she appologized.

“its okey” Claire replied with a relief and adjusted her eyeglasses,"just not having a great day today". She amplified.

“but today is your first day here, you should have, alright am going to show you all exciting things about Edinburgh,” Miranda replied cheerfully which made Claire to only smile.

And they both walked out of class.

Victor seem to be having fun watching the basket ball players practicing, together, with his new bros who called themselves THE CULS (probably The cools) and then he noticed Edward.

“that guy really got some huge stature” he broke out the silent.

“who?Edward?” one asked.

“yeah, he scoffed, That dude really thinks I will be scared of him ” .

“well aren't you?” the gang chorused together.

“i'd rather puke on my shirt than to be afraid of that bully '” he said boldly.

The gangs then burst into laughter.

“hey bro, I was over there watching you guys practice so hard, by the way good job”.

“thanks” Edward replied gruntly.

“yeah, so you see those boys over there,” the unknown student pointed to victor and his gangs.

“yeah?” Edward responded using his face towels to clean his face.

“and here, we have our beloved sport, basketball ” Miranda said gleefully.

“hm," murmured Claire who is busy enjoying her vanilla ice cream.

“hey,” tapped Miranda, “isn''t that victor ?”.

“huh?” Claire turned her gaze up away from her ice cream and saw two grouped boys ready for a fight as If, like a wrestling match.

“yeah it him” Claire, agreed “but it's his first day At school, yet he is picking Up a fight from not just a student, but a bully ”

“hey, let's get closer to them, to find out more” Miranda suggested.

“okay” Claire agreed and Miranda pulled them closer to the large circle of the remaining students who are ready to watch victor and Edward fight.

“i would like to see you puke on your shirt when am finished with you,” Edward friends giggled loudly as he fisted his palm into a punch and threw it at victor's face.

The students gasped loudly at victor fall to the ground, the CUL gang moved aside and Claire could find herself pitying him, but she doesn't know the reason why, she would actually care for a student who embarrassed her infront of everyone In the school bus.

Victor could feel the pain at his face as Edwards punch mistakenly activated his vision eyesight and through that he saw Claire fidgeting with a girl called Miranda he was not sure of her name, so as not to look like a coward in front of everyone, he stretched his leg across edward's which made Edward fall to the ground and hits Is head hard on the floor.

There was a loud cheer as Edward held his head in pains, victor quickly stood up and hit him another punch in his face and stepped on Edward's stomach which even caused more pains for Edward.

Victor felt like a champion at that moment as he was surrounded by many female student of Edinburgh cheering for him, Miranda quickly pulled Claire away from that rough circle.

Edward friends only helped Edward up from the floor, and Edward promised victor another fight by next Wednesday.

Victor only smirked, then his gang start to chant his name. Edward couldn't believe he would be beaten up by a small rat he nicknamed victor as, and has promised victor his own taste of pain to his friends.
