The time I took to reply made it seem like the distance between us was beyond what it was actually. However, I didn't know if I was ready yet or not. I hadn't even prepared my mind yet talk more of preparing my body to leave so, I just didn't know what to say to him at that point. Although, I understood everything he was trying to do. He wanted to make certain that he did his own part of whatever Carlos had asked of him and to that effect the last thing I would want would be to frustrate his efforts.
