A pair of young men and women, filled with fear of marriage, treat it as a "game" of quick marriages, ultimately falling in love during their time together, yet missing each other due to the shadows of their original families.
The female protagonist, Chen Yutong, is a woman striving for success in New Taipei. Raised in a family that favored sons over daughters, she was left with a spoiled younger brother who caused major trouble. She has always wanted to break free from her family's constraints and refuses to be trapped in a traditional marriage that shackles her life.
The male lead, Lin Youchen, is a handsome man working in fashion design. His parents from his original family were extremely domineering, controlling his life from a young age, which led to his extreme rebelliousness. He fears the constraints of marriage and views relationships merely as a game that can be ended once it loses its appeal.
After meeting each other, the two were drawn together. Since neither wanted to be bound by the responsibilities of marriage, they decided to treat it as a game. They agreed to marry quickly and set the following terms: no children, financial independence, no interference in each other's lives, and a peaceful breakup if the love faded—eschewing all traditional marital obligations.
After their marriage, they went to Southeast Asia for their honeymoon, spending a wild and sweet period together. Both fell in love with each other unconsciously. However, due to the shadow of his family background, the man was always afraid of facing intimacy and the constraints of marriage. In the end, he took the initiative to propose a divorce, and they parted ways peacefully.
Although the female lead ultimately parted ways with the male lead, she never regretted this experience. She had lived for herself once and had also loved passionately. This fairy-tale-like marriage, even though it ended in the end, left her with enough beautiful memories.
