In the evening , Jason and I met again. He was treating me burgers because I got rid of Ethan. Everything was normal , we ate , we talked and laughed until he came to this topic.

" Who was that guy who confessed to you ?"

" No one confessed to me."

" Really ? That guy said ' I Love You ' to you in front of everyone. He seems to be your lover. Is he really your lover ?"

" Sort of." I replied annoyingly.

" Why ? You don't like him ?" He asked.

" Not really. But he's a good guy."

He started teasing me " Ohhhhhhhh !!!! Sara has a lover ! Sara has a lover ! "

" Stop it , Jason !" I shouted.

" Okay . Okay. What's his name ?"

" Kai Ralston." I answered.

" Okay. Sara weds Kai ? Right ? I wonder what would be the name of your children. It would be Saka or Kasa or Raka. The name should be a combination of both the parents' name."

I gave him a deadly look but he was still in the mood of teasing.

" Why are you staring at me ? Oh , I get it ! I didn't suggested the girl's name. You can name her ' Sia'. Maybe she will grow up into a beautiful and successful singer."

" Yeah , go on ! Go on ! Tease me more ! But remember one thing .... you need my approval to marry my sister."

" YOUR APPROVAL ? I don't need your approval. I need your sister's approval. "

" I know that ! But you see, my sister still doesn't have feeling for you. So I can play a GREAT role in your love story. So if I approve your love towards my sister then I can help you. Otherwise , I can turn her against you."

His smile faded and he started pleading.

" Sara , I'm sorry. I was just having fun. I'm sorry. Please approve my love for your sister."

I gave him a big " NO !"

" Sara , please. Sara, please . I love you , Sara. You're the best friend anybody can ever have. Please, Sara."

My phone rung up.

" Is it your mom ?" He asked.

" Nope. Unknown number."

I picked up the phone.

" Hello ?"

" Honey, did you miss me ?"

" Honey ?" I asked.

" What ? You already forgot me. Don't worry , tomorrow I'll give you a kiss so that you remember me."

" I'm sorry but you called on a wrong number." I replied.

" I wanted to call only you , Sara."

" KAI ?" I screamed.

I was shook and Jason was having his best laugh.

" How did you get my number ?" I asked.

" Simple. I asked Zack to search for your number."

" That hacker..... I'm.... I'm gonna kill him."

" HEY ! DON'T YOU DARE THINK ABOUT KILLING HIM ?" He shouted over the phone.

" Why ?"

" If you want to kill someone then kill me not him ! I should be the one to be killed by your beauty."

" Kai , I'm not somewhere private to talk to you."

" Okay, then I'll text you around 1'o clock in the morning."

" Why you want to text me at this odd time ?" I asked.

" Seems like you are new to this...... Honey, couple like us talk at odd time like 1 or 2 in the morning."

" STOP CALLING ME ' HONEY' !"

" Then how about ' Babe' ?"

" I'm keeping the phone."

" Okay , I'll wait for you at the school gate. Goodnight. Honey."

I hung up on him and saw Jason was still laughing. He was having fun looking at my desperate state.

JASON

When Sara screamed " KAI" over the phone. I couldn't stop laughing. Her facial expressions has suddenly changed into half- shook and half- annoyance. I kept laughing until she hung up on him.

" Stop laughing , Jason."

" I'm sorry. But you ..... were so funny during the talk." I cracked into another laugh. After few seconds , I noticed her sitting quietly so I stopped laughing.

" Okay. I'm sorry. But tell me , how did he get your number ?"

" Zack helped him." She replied sadly.

" Don't worry. Just block his number."

She nodded and suddenly I got an idea.

I went down on my knees and said to Sara.

" Sara, save my number in Giya's phone. Please !"

She smiled and replied " No !" Which I was expecting from her.

" Hey, Sara ! Sorry for making fun of your situation.........but please save my number in your sister's phone."

" She has a password." She replied.

" I'm damn sure you knew that password !"

She smiled sweetly " Yes , I do."

" Then ...... please."

She stood up and replied " No ! I won't go against my sister's wish. She hasn't saved your number yet. So that means she doesn't need your number in her phone. Okay, I'll be get going. Goodbye."

She walked away and I tried my best to stop her.

" Sara , Wait ! I'll treat you anything you want to eat."

She turned and replied before continuing to walk " I don't need it !"

" Sara, I'll give you notes of chemistry lectures. No ! Wait ! I'll give you important questions of chemistry. Wait up !"

But she just walked away. I stood there thinking hard to find a way to save my number in Giya's phone.

ETHAN

Dad and I were sitting quietly in the back of the car but everything changed once we reached home. He walked in first in anger and I walked in normally. He stood there in the living room but I ignored him and went past him.

" WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING ?" He screamed.

I stopped and faced him.

" HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO GO TO YOUR SCHOOL FOR LISTENING YOUR COMPLAINTS ?"

" Fine. It won't happen again." I replied calmly and was going to my room.

" ETHAN ! " He shouted.

I turned to him and said " What it is ?"

" Do you know the consequences if you dropout of the school ? Do you want to become a failure in life ? If you don't study well then others' might take up my company."

" Let them take it." I replied.

" WHAT DID YOU SAY ? DO YOU HAVE THE IDEA ABOUT THE HARDWORK I HAVE PUT IN IT ?"

" DO YOU HAVE THE IDEA ABOUT MOM'S PAIN ..... THAT SHE HAS TO GO THROUGH ALL THIS TIME ?" I screamed.

" Don't bring your mother in this conversation." He said intensely.

" Why ? Why shouldn't I bring up her topic in this matter ? Why do you even care about it ? Don't pretend that you cared about my mom ?"

" What do you mean ? I married her."

" YOU JUST MARRIED HER FOR MONEY ! YOU NEVER LOVED MY MOTHER ! YOU HAVE BECOME SO HEARTLESS THAT YOU DIDN'T EVEN CAME IN HER FUNERAL !"

" I had business negotiations at that time."

" TELL ME ! WHICH HUSBAND LEAVE HIS WIFE'S FUNERAL AND ATTEND BUSINESS NEGOTIATIONS?" I screamed.

" Because of that negotiations..... our company has become number one ! "

" Look at you ! You're still talking about business and company. That showed you never loved my mom."

" Ethan !" He said raising his voice and his hand.

I looked at him and tried very hard not to shed tears in front of him.

" GET OUT OF MY SIGHT ! RIGHT NOW !" he ordered.

I walked out of the house quietly. Leaving behind the hell in which I stay everyday.

DARRELL

I was in my photo studio developing some of the pictures I had clicked. When there was knock at the door. It was Ethan. I welcomed him inside.

" I'm sorry for coming here so late at night." He said.

" There's nothing you should be sorry about...... after all you are my friend. Whatever is mine , is also yours. You can come here anytime you want."

" Thanks. It seems you are very happy here."

" Yeah. I love this place ! It's perfect ! I'm thankful to my parents that they bought it. So that I can fulfil my dream of being a famous photographer."

" Hmmm.... it's good at least one of us is fulfilling his dream. Anyway, what happened after I was suspended from school ?" He asked.

" It's a long story. Let me get you a coffee first."

I went to kitchen to make some coffee for Ethan. I was so busy in the kitchen that I forgot about one thing........ which Ethan found out.

" Why did you click so many pictures of the Headgirl ?" He asked.

I ran to him and snatched the pictures from him.

" Ummmm..... assignment ! I have a assignment."

" I understand you have a assignment but why did you click so many pictures ?" He asked smiling.

" Uh , Ethan. You're my best friend. I won't hide it from you. I like our Headgirl...... but there's tough competition in the world."

" Tough competition?"

" Oh yeah ! I completely forgot about it ! Today, in the canteen ......Kai said ' I love you' to Sara..... In front of everyone!"

" What did she reply ?"

" Nothing. Kai said ' he meant that whatever Sara did today in the school , on basis of that anybody would love her.' But I'm sure kai has feelings for Sara. Now, I can't fight against my another best friend for a girl, right ?"

I expected him to answer me but he seems to be lost somewhere. He was thinking about something.

" Hey ! Ethan ! Where are you roaming in your mind ?" I asked.

" Nowhere." He replied.

" Yeah, so I was asking if you and your best friend fall in love with the same girl then what would you do ?"

" I would ...... I would fight. I would fight for the girl." He replied intensely.

" What ? What about your best friend then ?"

" I'll only care for the girl."

" I still don't get it. What if we both fall in love with the same girl ? You would fight me ?" I asked.

" No , I don't think I need to do that."

" Why ?"

" Because whom ever you would choose ... will not match with my ideal type."

" Yeah, I agree. Your girl should be brave enough to take your tactics. Anyway , it's best that we don't fall in love with the same girl. So our precious friendship keep going forever."

He nodded. Even though, Ethan was disturbed but I took the responsibility to make him happy. I guess that what friends are for......

GIYA

Today was Sara's turn to do the dishes so I was helping her. I was looking for time like this when I would get my revenge.

" Where were you ? You came home late today." I asked.

" I was out with Jason." She replied.

" Oh , Come on ! No need to hide it from me. Were you out with Kai ?" I teased her.

" No ! I wasn't out with him. I told you I was with Jason."

" I thought you were on a date since he said ' I love you' to you."

" Hey ! Why is everybody bring up that topic ?"

" It's a hot topic for today. It will spread like wildfire.... so tell me , what did you do on your first date ?"

" Uhhhhhh ! I TOLD YOU I DIDN'T WENT ON DATE ! " she screamed.

" DON'T ! Don't scream ! Mom would hear it ! Okay, fine . You didn't went on a date with him. But at least tell me , you like him or not ?"

" I don't know." She replied sadly.

" It happens ! In the starting you don't know whether it's love or not ? But then you slowly realized that it was ' Love'."

" You seems to be pretty experienced one." She said looking at me suspiciously.

" Come on ! Do your work . See over there ! There's a strain. Clean it !"

" Hey ! Don't change the topic ! "She said teasing me.

ETHAN

I came back home around midnight. I entered my room and landed on the bed directly. I stayed motionless on the bed.... going through today's drama that happened in the school and then at home. I stayed like that for few hours, staring at the ceiling.

Darrell voice was echoing in my mind " Oh yeah ! I completely forgot about it ! Today, in the canteen........ Kai said ' I Love You' to Sara ...... in front of everyone."

I got up from the bed and went to my study table. I removed a marker, sticky notes and some tape from the drawer. I took out the photo from my jacket and stuck it on the wall with a note. When I had went to visit Darrell , I found a lot of pictures of Sara clicked by Darrell. I was going through the pictures when I found this picture..... where she was smiling. It was a picture that could melt anyone's heart but I brought it for other reasons. I looked at the picture and and wrote on the note " I WILL DESTROY YOUR SMILE."
