WHAT IMPORTANCE SHE HAS IN MY LIFE ?

SARA

I noticed everyone was super busy with learning for the tests. So nothing much happened during that time. I was so busy learning that I never realized the days passing by like lighting along with our tests. Even though tests ended but result was put on the notice board after two days. I really appreciate how our teachers checked our papers so quickly. Lexi already told us that teachers started checking on the day of the paper itself. So no wonder they gave the result so soon. We all were very curious to see our results. As expected Jason stood first rank , I was in Third rank and Giya was in seventh rank....... I didn't wanted to check his rank but I felt so tempted by the thought that I checked his rank. I checked in top 30 .... No ! he wasn't there, I checked in top 40 and 50 but he wasn't there, I checked the further numbers but couldn't find him. At last , I felt I shouldn't have wasted so much of my energy in searching him in the list because......... he was in 100th rank. The very last one on the list.

" Why am I in fifth rank ? Who stole my rank ? SARA !!!!!!" Asked Zack.

" What ?" I asked.

" You stole my rank ! "

" I didn't. I just worked hard." I replied with a smile.

" Wait ! Wait ! Till I get my hands on you !" He screamed in anger.

He chased me everywhere. I ran through corridors, classrooms , stairs , ground and canteen. I was tired so I stopped him.

" Listen !...... Oh ! Oh my ! I can't ! I can't run anymore." I huffed.

" You should ........ you should...... have thought about it........ before stealing my rank." He said catching his breath.

" Okay....... I'm sorry. I'll treat you anything. But ....... stop chasing me."

" You ! You think ..... you can treat me ..... and I will let you go . Okay. Fine."

I should've known that he was not that kind of person who would be happy with just a treat. He purposely called everyone for treat saying that I was giving a treat because I came third.

" Sara, you are so generous ! According to the rank, Jason should give us a treat for coming first but you came third and you're treating us ! Sooooooo sweeeeeetttt !" Omo teased me.

" Hey , that's right ! Jason ! When are you giving us a treat ?" Asked Kelly.

" Don't worry. Take it from Sara. We'll have double party." Jason replied.

" No ! I'm not giving a party to anyone ! In fact , I'm not going anywhere !" I said loudly.

But these boys..... they dragged me to Subway and ordered their favourite sandwiches. I don't mind giving treat to one or at least two people but Zack ..... he has brought the whole cabinet including my sister and Kai. Zack was mean to me because he was like " Oh, Kai ! Don't starve yourself ! Have another sandwich !" , " Hey , forget about your diet , Kelly ! Make the most of this treat ! Have this diet coke ! It won't do any harm to your body !" , " Oh my God ! Why ain't you eating anything ? Here , take this sandwich !". I decided not to eat anything but Zack was not satisfied with such petty teasing so he targeted me this time.

" Sara , Why ain't you eating anything ?" He asked.

" I don't want to add up to my bill by ordering more." I replied coldly.

" Hey ! This is not fair ! You are giving me a ..... I mean giving us a treat so you should eat along with us."

" I don't have appetite " I replied.

" Okay. Here , have this coke ! Don't worry , it comes with the combo pack that I ordered. It's totally free and it won't add up in the bill."

I looked at him with suspicion but finally believed his words. He extended the coke to me and I was about to hold it. When he got up and went to Jason saying " Jason ! Don't choke yourself ! Have this coke !". I was picked on my nerve.......... I mean who wouldn't. I got up from my seat and went out to get some fresh air.

KAI

Zack was playing with Sara a lot. She was so annoyed but she still looked cute. Finally, she couldn't bear anymore of it so she went out. I went to the counter, paid the bill and took her bag then stepped out. She was just standing outside so I went to her, grabbed her hand and started walking away from there. She was taken aback but she paced up with me.

" Where are you taking me ?" She asked.

" What do you like to eat ?" I asked.

" What ?"

" I asked ' what do you like to eat ?'"

" Ummm...." she was thinking hard.

" Okay. Forget it. I take you to KFC."

" But , Why ?" She questioned.

" Why ? You don't want to go ?"

" Nothing like that..... but I haven't paid the bill."

" Don't worry about it . Your boyfried paid it." I said proudly.

" My boyfriend ?" She asked.

" Yeah. Me !"

" YOU ! " She exclaimed.

" Why ? What's wrong ?"

" Nothing..... you're so blah !" She replied.

" Blah ? Do you mean I'm not good ? "

She looked at me and nodded. I said " You ! Wait there ! " as she started running away. She pounced on the food as if she hadn't had any of it. She took big bites and she was so busy eating that she didn't realize mayonnaise and ketchup was on the tip of her nose and corners of her lips. She looked so adorable when she act so goofy like this. I didn't had any food but watched her eat it. It was more interesting to watch her eat it than eating it myself. I paid the bill again and we walked down the road, holding her hand. It seems like a perfect date after school and the best part was she never realized that I holded her hand. I couldn't stop smiling and looking at her.

JASON

Sara left with Kai so I was left to give Giya my company. After the treat, we all walked to our respective cars in the school. When Giya and I reached there. A guy came to her with a gift in his hands.

" Giya !" He called out.

As she walked to that guy , I followed her.

" Hey, Eddie !" She greeted.

" Giya , I brought this for you." He said extending the gift to her.

" What is it ?"

" Open and see it !" He smiled.

Giya opened the gift. That guy had gifted her a chocolate box with a letter. My eyes widen at this sight.

" Chocolate box ?" She asked.

" Uh, yeah. You helped me in German so I thought I should gift you something. My marks have improved because of you."

Giya smiled at this compliment and I was burning with fire. THAT GUY DARED GIVE A DAMN GIFT TO MY LOVER IN FRONT OF MY EYES ? I got to keep my manners here. After all, I'm in front of my school now.

" Thank you. You really shouldn't have brought me a gift." She replied sweetly.

" I should've. You got 7th rank in the school. Take it as gift for congratulating you on your success." He said.

LOOK AT THAT !!!!!! A GIFT FOR CONGRATULATING !!!!!! MY FOOT !!!

" Uhm, you're free this weekend ?" He asked.

" Why ? You need help in German."

" No. I was thinking ..... we should hang out."

" ALRIGHT ! STOP IT !" I shouted. They both looked at me for my sudden behaviour.

" Listen ! Giya is busy with me this weekend !" I said to that guy.

" Okay..... then how about next weekend ? " He asked.

" Hey ! What's your problem ? She's busy this whole month. Look for someone else to hang out."

" Why are you getting so hyper , Jason ?" Asked Giya.

" I..... I....... needed your help in German. So you can't go out anywhere !" I answered.

" Why do you need help ? You're the topper of our school." Said Eddie.

" Why ? Jealous ? I told you she's not coming with you. Go ! Go home now !"

Eddie gave me a death stare and walked off waving to Giya. She smiled and opened the chocolate to eat. I grabbed it from her hand and said angrily.

" Why ? Why do you want to eat it ? You're not on diet ?"

" I don't do diet and stuffs." She replied.

" Fine ! Then.... then ..... cavity ! You'll have cavity if you eat it ! I'm taking it away ! And stay away from that guy !"

" Why ?" She asked crossing her arms.

" He.... he distracts you ! You need focus !"

" You also distract me. But I never said anything." She smirked.

I got nothing to give her an answer so I walked off. Both the sisters are just the same ! I'm sure Sara has taught Giya to do this ! Anyways , Sara is the only one who talk this way ! Ohhhh , my poor Giya adapted things like this from Sara !

SARA

After treating me in KFC , Kai and I were walking down the road.

" What body lotion do you apply ?" Kai asked.

" Why ?"

" You hand is so soft." He said showing me our hands. I let go of his hand.

" Who told you to hold my hand ?"

" Why ? We are couple now." He answered.

" Who said ?" I asked.

" My heart told me that ' ONLY ' you ..... you will be my wife in future." He said holding my hand again. He started walking and I got to keep my pace with him.

" Hey ! Why did you-----" I was saying but was cut off by Ethan who appeared in his bike from nowhere.

" Need help." Said Ethan.

I didn't replied anything to him but the tension between Kai and Ethan was so dangerous. They were glaring at each other. Ethan shifted his view towards me.

" You need help, Sara." He said sweetly.

" Yes. She will need help to throw you out of the school once again." Said Kai.

" Did you heard that ? I heard someone talking." Said Ethan pretending to hear something.

" Oh, poor dog has become deaf ." Said Kai.

" What did you say ?" Asked Ethan.

" Can you hear it ? A dog is barking." Said Kai.

Ethan got off his bike and came to Kai but I stopped them.

" Guys , please ! Stop it ! We are in middle of the road. Back off ! Both of you !" I commanded. Both stepped back but kept glaring at each other.

" Come on , Kai ! Let's go !" I said holding his hand.

" What the use of having him ? He doesn't even answer your call. When you're in trouble." Said Ethan as I walked past him. I stopped and looked at him.

" What did you say ?" Asked Kai.

" If you want to protect her then answer to her when she calls you. I won't here to save her all the time." Replied Ethan. He put on his helmet and went away. As expected Kai asked me what Ethan's words meant. I told him what all happened that day. He was furious.

" Why did you lie to me , Sara ?"

" I .... I..... he told me not to tell you anything."

" You should've told me ! He doesn't mean anything to you , right ? Then why did you agreed to keep it mum."

" I don't want you to be worried about me."

He holded my face and said " Sara , You don't have to look out for me. I'm worried for you because I love you."

He looked in my eyes and while looking back in his eyes, it felt so calm and soothing like there is no stress or tension in this world.

" Your face is so much softer than your hand !" He said sweetly.

" What ?" I asked coming back to reality.

I pushed him away and he followed me.

" Remember to report these incidents to me from right now." He said holding my hand.

GIYA

I came home, studied for an hour and then lie down on my bed. Suddenly, I remembered Eddie's letter. I removed it from my bag and read it.

" Giya, congratulations ! You came 7th in the school. You are such a nice girl ! Always helping and caring for others. Thanks for helping me in German. I really got good marks this time ! I know it might sound awkward but I really wish to spend more time with you. But this time, I want to hang out with you. I really look forward to it ! If you are free then we should hangout sometime.

I sighed looking at the letter. I really wish if Jason has written something like this for me. I would've been so happy. Sara came in and lied down next to me.

" What is this ?" She asked.

" A letter."

" FROM JASON ?" she screamed.

" Shhhhh !!! Can't you see ? It's from Eddie."

" Who's Eddie ?"

" A guy I helped in German. He gifted me chocolates with this letter."

" You ate the chocolates all alone ?" She cried.

" No. I didn't even got to taste them."

" Why ?" She asked.

" Your best friend took all the chocolates."

" You mean Jason was there ?"

" Hmm. He was standing there with me."

" That's amazing ! He might be so jealous ! But why are you acting so sad ?" She asked.

" I really wish this letter comes from him." I replied with a sigh.

" That's all ! I tell him to write a letter to you."

" Hey, Dummy ! What happened to you toady ? Your brain is not working. I want him to come to me and confess it. But it seems like it might take another hundred years for him to do it." I replied.

" So you gonna wait like this for hundred years ?" She asked.

" I guess so."

" Why don't you give him certain signals that will make him realize that you like him ?"

" Did you forgot about the ' hacking the phone ' incident ? We can't let them win this time. I'll have my revenge. And you got to be in my team, Sara."

" I'm in ! Don't worry, I'll help you in your revenge and you help me in mine."

ETHAN

I was sitting in sofa with my phone in my hand. I closed my eyes and only one scene was playing again and again. When she holded Kai's hand. I didn't feel so annoyed when this was happening in front of me but experienced anger when I think about it. It was not the first time that I was thinking about both of them. And whenever I do think about it, it just make me angry. I got no reason for it but maybe because I see her with Kai all time. I called her.

" Hey !" I said.

" Uh.... what is it ?"

" Nothing. I called to say sorry."

" Sorry ?" She asked.

" Yeah. Actually I told Kai about that day's incident. So ..... I'm sorry. Those words just slipped out of my mouth."

" I doubt that ' it just slipped '." She said.

" Ahhhh, Sara ! You always talk to the point. I like it. It gives me a thrilling feeling."

" So did you actually called to say sorry ?"

" Hmm.... and also to tell you that I'll be looking forward to meet you."

" Huh ?"

" Did you forgot ? Only eight days are left for me to come back to school."

" Sounds like a threat ?" She said.

" It's an invitation..... to get to know you better. Goodnight."

I hanged up. Why did I say that I want to know her better ? Maybe because I want to compete with Kai..... but why should compete with him, when I can simply ignore him ? Why should I do this for Sara ? She doesn't mean anything to me.....
