MISSING: THE LAST FOSTER

Chapter 34

Hedeliza's back, her body, her strength are back but Lizle's not yet awake. Felix look at her from time to time. Now that Hedeliza is okay, Raixen is having a hard time to sneak out to do things in his own or even with Felix. He seldom call Felix to come with him but there are times that Felix caught him and he don't have a choice but to let him come with him.

"In one week, there are three nights that the light is on at Foster's house. I just witnessed the last night. What do you guys think about going in there?" Hedeliza asked that made the boys look at her.

"What did you just said?" Raixen asked trying to absorb what Hedeliza said.

"Are you freaking kidding me?" Felix said raising his brows in Hedeliza.

"I want to understand what is in there. What happened last time caught me off-guard that is why I got crippled. But look at this, we have no idea that there is someone in there, that is why it was so easy for them to take me and Lizle down because they knew your were helpless if me and Lizle are in danger," Hedeliza said, explaining things that Raixen never thought of doing. Well, he once think about it but now with any of them but by himself, alone.

"Hiede, that is too risky," Felix said.

"Isn't it risky to do things we don't know what we need or what we should do? Look, we are searching for Shekinah who is now in the hand of whoever. She's in danger, her life is in danger and she only have us. If we are not going to work, who? Why the hell those people are there in Fosters home? Maybe they didn't get the evidences Shekinah have and they are thinking that maybe, Shekinah was able to just hide it somewhere in her home?" Hedeliza said while seriously looking at the boys.

Raixen's in the deep part of his mind thinking what Hedeliza said. She's eventually correct but Felix was also correct, they can't see the enemy and entering the place that is conquered by the enemy is a death wish.

"Hiede, we do not know who or what are we going to see inside Shekinah's home. I was actually planning to enter there but I was having a second thought if I should go there in the morning or in the evening. I don't want you guys to know about my plan but since you have mentioned about it Hiede, maybe we can plan this out. I will go inside, Felix will be my look-out and you, you will stay in the car, in the driver's seat," Raixen said and Hedeliza immediately shakes her head.

Raixen was just trying to put them not so close in danger but these people are closing themselves in danger.

"Do you remember why Shekinah didn't let tita Monica install the technology in her home? Because she was right, how would she know who is the enemy if they can't go close to her?" Hedeliza said, mocking Raixen's mom when they again asked why the Fosters home doesn't have the technology.

Hedeliza and Felix have no idea what is this technology they were talking about, they do not know where and how his mom made this. They didn't bother to introduce to them the basement, maybe some other time, when everything is settled already and when Shekinah is back and safe. Among all of them, Shekinah was the one who knows about this technology.

Raixen caught Felix looking at him and he nodded. That says everything.

"Do you agree what Raixen said? You'll stay in the ----"

"Ha-Hie-de."

Felix wasn't able to finish what he was saying when they heard someone's voice in Hedeliza's back. Their eyes widened and Hedeliza turn her back while the boys have to get off their chairs and look at Lizle. They gasped when they saw her with an open eyes.

"Lizle! Oh my God! You are awake, gosh! Welcome back, how are you? Are you in pain? Are you hungry? Are you okay?" Hedeliza asked one after another.

Felix got teary eyed and couldn't help himself and he hugged Lizle while she is still in bed. Her wounds are but those are still not yet healed.

"Hi, babe. How are you? Do you want anything? Do you need your Doctor?" Felix asked.

Raixen's intently looking at Felix happy while talking to Lizle. He is happy that finally his best friends is not out of danger but in pain with the fact that Shekinah — his girlfriend — is battling alone with danger. Raixen slowly walk to the door and get out without making any noise.

'What am I doing in here? I am not supposed to be here, I am supposed to be there outside and searching for Shekinah. I miss you so much, babe.' Raixen said in his mind while having his serious face and glaring eyes walking through the garage and his car.

He was about to start the engine when the shotgun's door abruptly get open wide and Hedeliza take the seat and out the seatbelt on.

"Are we going to trade the whole world now?" she asked without even looking at him to explain why the hell she's here. What are you doing here?" Raixen asked.

Hedeliza sigh and seriously looked at him. "I was trying to lighten up the mood, Rex, because I know how heavy the things we are carrying in our shoulder, you, yourself is struggling because I know what you have in mind. You are going somewhere, somewhere to wish and hope that maybe Shekinah is there, or something that can lead you to Shekinah is there. Then I'll go with you," Hedeliza said seriously.

Raixen sigh but Hedeliza made up her mind. He started the engine and drive out of their village. He is driving through the NBI head quarter to ask some updates about Shekinah. Maybe he can also check the Police. They might get suspected them why they seems not asking for an update like how other people did.

"NBI Head quarters?" Hedeliza asked when she spotted the signage of the building they are approaching.

"I gave them the video and hoping that they will give accurate information. Don't worry, your parents have it investigated as well," Raixen answered and they both come out from the car. Their eyes narrowed when they saw several bodyguards around.

"Presidential bodyguards?" Hedeliza said whispering, enough for Raixen to hear and understand what she said.

The President is here, the former Vice President of Mr. Alexander Foster. Raixen immediately stopped and hid himself in the wall and uses his arm to stop Hedeliza as well. Her forehead knotted and his eyes narrowed as well as Hedeliza.

The President is talking to the man that handles the case of the Fosters. They seems like talking very serious for the bodyguards to stay away from them. Raixen roam his eyes around and other officers are busy, they don't seem not minding the President talking to one of their officer, of course, that is the country's President himself.

"I never saw tito Alexander having these bunch of bodyguards," Hedeliza mumbled and Raixen didn't mind. They both stand straight when the President turn his back from the officer and walk towards their direction. Well, yeah, this is only exit.

"Good day, Mr. President," Raixen said firmly.

Hedeliza didn't even open her mouth for a hi and just showed a little smile. They are certain this person knows them both. He was smiling and showed his gratitude to the Fosters funeral. He was very sad for the Fosters.

"Mr. Gregor, nice to see you again. I hope you and your--"

"Best friend," Hedeliza said cutting the President's word before the malicious eyes of this old man will connect the thought to his tongue and might spill things that can make the two of them puke in front of the beloved President.

"Right, best friend. I remember, Ms. Shekinah Foster, do you have any update about her? Ny heart git shuttered when I heard the news that she was gone and there's a possibility that she's abducted. I can't just stay in my home, in my office and in my chair without thinking about her. She was the sweetest and I know what she went through the past months and what happened to her was really heartbreaking," the President said.

Hedeliza smirk and wanted to act like wiping an imaginary tears. She do not know why she was never feel comfortable around this person even before, maybe because everything about him was just plasticity and advertisement?

"Wel, yeah. That is why we are here, to ask for an update. Shekinah was indeed the sweetest but she's not just sweet she is also spicy. She is a fighter and we believed that she's alive because she can and she will. Whoever is guilty behind everything, we promise in front of you, Mr. President, he will taste the most painful life ahead," Hedeliza said showing her true self to the President.

She can even see in peripheral view that some of the President's colleague is gesturing her to bow down. The heck?! Hedeliza smiled and slowly bow her head with a smirk in her face.

"Thank you for your kindness, Mr. President. We are praying that someday, as soon as possible, we can have the safe Shekinah in our home, please excuse us," Raixen said and take a step forward towards the cluster of the officer whom the President spoke with.

"Shekinah have a strong and powerful families around her, how lucky young lady," Mr. President said.

Hedeliza smiled and replied, "because she and her family are the kindest. I have no intention of bringing this up, but people loves them. Shekinah Foster was raised by a loving and responsible parents that is why they are loved. We are going to work and trade the world just to serve the justice that the Fosters deserve and Shekinah Foster will conquer the world and continue the legacy of her parents," Hedeliza said without blinking and without looking away from the President's eyes. She witnessed how the sudden expression in his eyes switched into something very serious when she mentioned the Fosters are loved by many people.

"I admire such a strong woman, I hope you will do good and your future will do good. Excuse me, young lady," Mr. President said and tapped her shoulder.

Hedeliza immediately shake her sleeve where the hand of Mr. President touches. She was waiting the time she could say all of those words and she didn't thought it was for the President. She never thought she can get this kind of conversation with the President, she was able to spill everything how she felt about Shekinah and Fosters and why they are working too hard for them.

She will stand to her words. "Shekinah will soon conquer the world. She will be leader, that's a promise," she said with no one can hear and walk towards Raixen.

Raixen is looking at him with questioning eyes, she just gave him a smile and a smirk. She never knew that those conversation can lessen the burden she have in her head. Those words are really for the President.

He should know about Shekinah, because he can help them for finding Shekinah. He is the boss of all, his wish is everyone's command. If he is going to order to find Shekinah Foster that will be a big help.

"Then why we still don't have an update about Ms. Foster?" Raixen asked firmly to the NBI officer who have his busy and locked to the desktop.

"We can't find the location of where was the video taken or where was the video came from," Mr. Officer answered.

"Really? The video is not encrypted. That was also just taken almost 3 months ago and you have all the resources to find out about this mystery, then why no?" Raixen said. The officer looked at him and Hedeliza.

Hedeliza cleared her throat to get the guys attention.

"The case is a matter of life and death. Who knows about her status now, we need to find out how is she and where is she, or just give us an information about her just a little at least an information, a legit one. We are playing here."
