CHAPTER ELEVEN DANIEL PICKED up the lighter from the tray beside him, tossing it into the air and snatching back playfully. He lit the cigarette already stationed at the tip of his lips and took a long drag at it, resting on the pillows stacked on the wall at the head of the bed, blowing out the smoke. He tapped the lighter on the tray to the beat of the song streaming from his earphones He nodded his head and moved from side to side, his eyes firmly closed. He hummed as he took another drag and stood up. He walked to the small refrigerator in the room and pulled it open, taking hold of a can beer.
