Treasure looked up at him, and he could see she was struggling to make a decision. He was just about to say something more when she spoke. “Fine,” she said simply. She had only taken a step up, so she glided down to the feet of the stairs, groaning in pain as she moved. Kelvin ran up the stairs to her desk and placed every loose item into her brown handbag: papers, pens, flash drive connected to the system, a notepad and the likes.
