Chapter 40
“Good day, everyone. I hope you had a good night’s sleep and I am happy that nothing happened like the last time. Truthfully, it was chaotic,” he paused for a second before he continued, “I am sorry to inform you that the kid will no longer be joining the game. He is now incapable to do so.”
That was the voice that kept repeating when the sun started rising. The voice was on speaker. Aside from that, nothing happened during the entire announcement. Daniel looked up to the sky and measured what time was based on the position of the sun. Then he looked down and saw that the people were already started coming out of their houses. They were still in groups.
“What could have happened to the kid?” Dontrell asked as he walked towards him and took a peek outside the window.
