Chapter 17 The masked man who was in control with the rotating wheel started rotating it to lower it down. Everyone in the cage started to react again while Robort went out of balance and fell down to the flat surface of the cage and because he was not able to land at his own will, he landed on the area where the vomit from the other woman was found. Robort froze to where he was. His eyes opened wide. He could not even mutter a word due to shock. He could not believe that he would be able to touch someone’s vomit with one of his hand. For a man who had an established career, he felt he did not deserve to be stained by a low profile person. He had been stained two times in a row by a woman he looked down because of her status in the society. “Hey,” the woman in corporate suit called. “Mr. Lopez.” Robort woke up from the shock and immediately shouted. He crawled towards the center and shook his hands towards the people. “Get this away from me!” Everyone shouted and tried to get away from Robort. The cage was now shaky as the masked men looked up above. The masked man who was in control of the buttons looked at its leader. It nodded. The masked man who was in control pushed something on the controller. The roof of the cage opened and the only thing that held it was the chains wrapped around the bars. Everyone froze when they saw a snake fell from above. As they all looked up, the roof was just pitch black despite of having the dim lights above. “Ssssss,” the snake hissed. The snake was estimated as 2 meters long. Everyone did not know what to do. They realized that they still had their weapons that they got during the chess game. They did not confiscated it. Everyone held their weapons tightly. They were still statued. It was to prevent the snake from sensing them. “If you just had a great strategy during the chess game then, we would not be here,” the tattooed man said without moving his mouth, ventriloquism, blaming Robort for the lost. Robort wanted to punch him but he could not. The snake might sense his movement and tackle him. “Ssssss,” they heard. All of them were now sweating in cold sweats due to being scared. They heard another thud. Another snake fell from up above. It was not just one but it was three. They were now surrounded with four snakes inside the cage. One in every corner. “Ssssss,” the snakes hissed in unison. Everyone could not move but they knew sooner or later, they would need to move to release what they needed to release. The tattooed man was so sick of waiting. He was sick of remaining in statue. They needed to do sometime. He saw that one of the snake was already near the metal bars since it diverted its attention away from them because they were all staying still. “Hold your balance and use you weapons to avoid the snake as much as possible!” he shouted and used that as an opportunity and directed the cage to move to the side with his weight so the snakes would slid down and would be electrocuted with the metal bars.
