First day of summer vacation
School isn't always fun for most people especially history class, but that's not the case for bolt. Bolt loved history, especially mythology. He could stayed for hours and hours learning about new different mythology, while listening to some cool music. Right now, bolt's class is doing a special mythology lesson from history class. And today's topic is about a myth that everyone is familiar with - Yup, it's greek mythology. While Mr. Benjamin is explaining a few myths from Greece, bolt was distracted by an eagle that flew from nowhere and land on one of the schools buildings. Bolt was amazed that there's an eagle in his school as he looked trough the window next to him, that he barely heard Mr. Benjamin calling to him. "Mr. Olympia!" "Huh?! Oh... Uh... Yes sir?" Bolt immediately snapped out of his daydream. "Can you please explain why mount Olympus in Greece is so special?" "Uh..." Even though bolt didn't pay attention to Mr. Benjamin's teaching, bolt have a vast knowledge of myth and he uses it to his advantage. "Because, in ancient Greece; people believe that their Gods live there and that's why its was seen as a special place." Bolt explained. "Well done Mr. Olympia, pretty impressive you managed to answer this despite not paying attention. I do hope, I don't have to see you daydreaming again in my class." He said sternly. "Y-Yes sir..." The whole class laugh at bolt and he was embarrassed, the only one that didn't laugh at him was his best friend elisia jones. Elisia just sighed at bolt and shook her head, she can't believe that bolt just daze off during one of his favorite class. Both of them are childhood friends and have been attending the same school eversince they were little, alma was always trying to look after bolt and he can be clumsy sometimes which always worried her. And today, it wasn't just like him to daydream in the middle of class. After a few hours school was over, everyone got out of their class and left school. Alma is outside waiting for bolt to come out, they always go home together and today is no different. After a few minute, bolt finally came out. He rush to alma while running, "Hey elisia! Sorry I'm late, the teacher just scolded me for dazing off during class." "Sigh... That's what you get for not paying attention, you know it's not like you to daze off like that." "Yeah... I was kinda distracted by an eagle perching in the storage room." "You gotta be kidding me, really? You do know; you can watch eagle's some other time right?" "Of course I know, it's just that an eagle perching on our school was a never before seen moment." "Oh brother... You know what forget it; let's just go home. Normally I scold you but knowing that tomorrow is summer vacation puts me in a good mood, I guess I'll let it slide" Elisia pointed out as she and bolt left the school. Bolt couldn't agreed more, finally summer vacation has come and bolt was sure that this was going to be a memorable summer vacation. The two of them went home together, and they eventually stopped at a crossroad. The traffic lights was red so they waited until it turns green, but after 5 minutes the light still haven't turn green which frustrated alma. "Seriously?! Its been 5 minutes and the light still haven't turn green, I wonder if it's broken?" Elisia growled "Hm... Let me see." Bolt said, as he made his way to the light pole right next to him. As soon as bolt touched it; something weird started happening, sparks started coursing trough the pole and suddenly the lights instantly turn green. Bolt was surprised by this and moved a few feet back. "Woah, it turned green. Bolt, how did you do it?" "Uh... I just... Well... Shaked it. Yup, give it the old shake and turn." Bolt smiled sheepishly. "Right... Anyway, let's go." The two of them cross the roads and made it to the other side, while they're walking bolt couldn't shake that familiar feeling. "It happened again." He mumbled. Ever since bolt was little, he always seems to have the power to bring out the sparks in everything he touches. At first when his parents took him to a doctor; the doctor told them he was fine and there was nothing wrong with him, eventually his family started getting used to bolt's unsual ability. But bolt couldn't ignore it like the rest of his family, he knew that there was something not normal about him and his ability is prove. He couldn't tell elisia because he doesn't want to worried her, and so for so long bolt have kept his ability hidden from others and elisia. But bolt still felt guilty for hiding something from his best friend. After a long walk they finally made it home. They were neighbours and they lived in 8th street Manhattan, their homes were 2 inches away from one another so bolt and alma can see each other everyday. Elisia and bolt said their goodbyes and went to their homes, when bolt was inside he found his house empty. Normally his grandma eleanor would always greet him when he was home, but this time there were silence. "Grandma! Grandma! Are you here?" Bolt yelled trying to find his grandma, he soon looked behind him and saw a letter taped to the door. "What's this?" He grabbed the letter and started reading it. "Dear bolt, if you're reading this that means you are already home. And if you're wondering where I am, I'm off to work again. I know you always said I shouldn't force myself to work but this is something I need to do, don't worry I'll be right back before you know it. Ps, if you're hungry there's a frozen microwave-able pasta in the fridge. Love, grandma." Bolt began to sighed after reading the letter, now he was worried. His grandma was always sick and she sometime doesn't have enough energy to do everything. With his parents overseas, he lived with his grandma and the only one who helped her. His grandma work as a book shop keeper in 8th street Manhattan, which is pretty far. Bolt didn't want to worry and he know his grandma is always right so he decided to rest to get his mind off of it. He put his bag on the couch of the living room and began to sleep in the armchairs, "Man... What a day, and finally summer vacation starts now. I hope grandma is okay..." He thought as he slowly drifted to sleep. As he was sleeping, he started having a very weird but also a familiar dream
