OTARU: The Dragon Lord

    Koyo walked out of her cave, she looked back and saw that the illusory array was working, she sighed and walked down the mountain, she didn't know why but she just felt she had to go down the mountain today,  "when was the last time I  came down the mountain?" She asked herself with a self deprecating smile, she tried to remember and she laughed out loud. Getting to the foot of the mountain, she looked around and saw nothing,  she wanted to turn back but it was as if she was meant to be here, she looked around and saw a boulder, sitting on it she looked around, the mountain was still the same, tall trees, birds, glaring sun and wild animals the only thing missing was her Atari, he wasn't here anymore. "Crunch" she heard the sound of dried leaves been crushed under foot and she quickly made herself invincible, she looked and a beautiful female appeared holding a bundle in her arms, she looked scared. She placed the bundle on the floor very close to the boulder she was sitting on, and looked at it, Koyo being curious also peered and saw a beautiful baby girl, snow white skin, pink lips, deep black hair, she was shocked, looking back at the female, she scrutinized her, brown short hair, brown eyes, pale skin, she sighed. "You ruined my life.....I hope wild animals feast on you" the female said and walked away, Koyo sighed, who gives birth and abandons the child, only humans would, their race disgusted her. She looked at the baby who was fast asleep,  "what a pitiful human who had a beast for a mother" she thought, the baby blinked, opened her eyes and stared right at her with a smile, she felt shocked and checked her invincibility "No human had been able to see through her disguise" she thought but this abandoned baby was, she looked at the baby again and one could tell she was fascinated by the baby's eyes for one of her eyes was green while the other red, she had never seen anything like it, getting rid of her disguise, she jumped down the boulder and crouched before the child who had stopped smiling and was looking at her with a frown, "What her you little one?" She asked but the baby kept staring at her, "Should I leave you here?" She asked again but got no reply "My conscience won't let me" she said and picked the baby up, carrying her a pair of strong scaly brown wings appeared on her back and she flew high, Landing at the entrance if her cave she walked in and placed the baby on her stone bed, she looked at the baby and sighed, she had once thought of having a child but she couldn't get pregnant maybe the gods finally saw her plight and compensated her, "What can you eat little one?" She asked herself,  "You humans drink milk at infancy and I've got tons of that" she said and clapped her hands in glee, getting up she walked to the other part of her cave where she kept her treasures, a huge boulder covered the entrance, she rolled her sleeves and pushed it out of the way revealing a room filled with mini mountains of gold, everywhere glittered, she walked to where four stone like drums where and looked into one, a golden colour liquid stared back at her, she couldn't help but become emotional It has been years since she last entered here, approximately two hundred years, all her dreams and wished all vanished when Atari left her, it was her fault though, she laughed when she remembered what humans said about her race, She remembered when dragons used to roam this world but now she is the only one left, it wasn't always  like this, long ago dragons roamed this world, there were dragons who couldn't fly and those who could, those who could fly were shared into two winged dragons,.four winged dragons, six winged dragons and eight winged dragons,  The dragon race was ruled by the eight winged dragons, they were the strongest and dragon history says that they were called dragon gods, they could go to the heavenly realm and leave at will, their representatives were the six winged dragons, who ruled at regents and her Atari was the last regent, the two and four winged dragons were warriors and court officials respectively, while dragons who couldn't fly were used for labour. Atari was her everything, she met him once during  the dragon god festival, she wandered round his palace and she saw him by the lake he just stood there looking at the water, he was dressed in a purple dress, his hair was packed in a bun,  "Hello" she managed to say that day, she was bedazzled by his looks, most persons don't know that dragons could take human form but the face and beauty of the dragons with wings was more superior than that of the wingless dragons. He turned and looked at her, "why are you here?....the regent is going to pray for the people soon" she asked and said to him, not knowing of his identity then "I'm nervous" he replied to her, and as she opened her mouth to speak again, someone beat her to it "My grace it is time" someone said behind her and she turned and saw that it was the head of the dragon troops, she was shocked, looking back at him, he smiled at her and walked away, "Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" a sharp cry broke her out of her reverie, she grabbed a golden bowl and scooped milk out of the bowl and walked out, she saw the human child had fallen on the floor and was crying, feeling guilty, she placed the milk on the stone bed and carried the baby, she petted the baby and brought the milk to her lips, she hoped her dragon milk will not affect the child, cause she had nothing else to feed her, She smiled as she saw her gulp the milk greedily, "hahaha what a greedy child....what will I call you?" She asked  "I'll call you Otaru, Atari always wanted our child to be called that, I hope you won't mind Otaru" she said and smiled at her, "From now on you are the daughter of former dragon regent Atari and Koyo's daughter Otaru"
