Chapter 2.

*Jasmine’s POV*

When Sean’s Beta Arrives, I am shocked at the concern on his face

“What’s wrong, Sean,” he asks as he takes a seat across from us.

I look down at my hands, not knowing if Kade is the same as Sean or if he is like my brother.

Sean places his hand on my knee to calm me down, and I look up at him.

“Kade, Meet Jasmine Williams, my Mate”

Made gets up and comes to me, then kneels and holds his hand.

I take his hand and shake it “pleased to meet you, Jasmine? Wait, what, Williams? You mean Vincent’s dead daughter?”

I take my hand from his and chuckle “the one and only”, I say with a smile, and Kade looks at me, then at Sean

“So you are not dead,” he asks in confusion. Sean leans forward.

“Oh, it gets better, Kade. We are taking Jasmine and her friend to our pack tonight. I will fill you in on the way. To Jasmine’s pack to get her Best friend, Steph.” he says as Kade’s eyes go wide.

“What do you need me to do, Sean? We could be in for a fight,” he says as he stands up.

And I shake my head. “I will go in and get Steph and our belongings and meet you where you drop me off. “

Kade Nods and I stand up “we don't have much time. I begin to walk out of the cafe, and they follow me.

Sean runs after me and takes my hand “my car is this way” we walk down the street, get into a black Jeep, and go to the boundaries of my pack.

I get out of the Jeep, and Sean follows me. I hand him back his phone and smile.

“I will shift, so you will have to tie it to me.” I take my hoodie and pants off, and sean turns around to give me privacy. I make sure my clothes are in a neat pile on the ground, then shift, then nudge the back of Sean’s leg to let him know he can turn when he does, he squats down and runs his fingers through my coat, and I feel our mate bond even stronger.

Then Sean takes his phone, fastens it to my Neck, and kisses the tip of my nose.

“You are beautiful in wolf form and human, Jasmine. I will see you soon.”

I muzzle into him, then turn and run into the forest and make my way to the omega house, ensuring I am not seen.

I shift back and go inside, grabbing a shirt to wear so I can pack my belongings, but I freeze when I see Steph sitting on her bed crying.

“What's wrong,” I ask her as I begin packing.

She looks at me “your brother has requested I go to his room tonight.”

She says with venom in her voice. I smile.

“Well, he isn't going to like it when you don't go to him. Now pack your things. We are leaving”

Steph looks at me “where will we go?” she asks but begins to pack her things. I smile.

“I found my mate, and he is waiting for us” Steph pauses, then comes and hugs me. “I am happy for you, Jas. “

She says as we throw the items we want to keep in a bag; I find the money I had hidden because we will need new clothes, and then we sneak out of the omega house with a backpack.

I get the phone and message Kade, “we are coming” I hit send, then place the phone in my bag, then look over at Steph “, are you okay to shift?” I ask, And she grins.

“Yes,” she says, then shifts into her wolf. When I know Steph is ok, I go back into my wolf, and we begin to make our way out of the territory avoiding the Guards that come and making sure the house is locked up. I see my brother's Guards heading towards the omega house, and Steph freezes.

I nudge her with my nose, and then she looks back at me, and I begin to run, knowing we will be caught if we take our time. Steph keeps up the pace, and as we get closer to Sean and Kade, I hear a howl signal that wolves are missing. I pick up the pace, Knowing the warrior wolves would get to us if we didn't make it.

Steph falls behind, and then I see my Brothers ink-black wolf coming towards us. He bares his teeth, and Steph begins to back up, so I stand in front of her and let out a howl hoping that Sean will know it's me.

My brother gets closer, and I get into defence mode to protect Steph. I see five other wolves circle us nipping at our heels.

So I take a step closer to my brother, and he attacks. I kick him off the top of me and watch him hit a tree, then look back at Steph, who has begun moving towards the boundaries.

Getting closer to Sean and Kade, I run after her while my brother is down, and we come into the clearing. I see Steph make it to the Jeep, so I pick up the pace, but my brother pins me down, snapping at my face.

I try to kick him off, but his wolf overpowers me. Then I see a blur of grey fur tackle my brother, and I take the opportunity to make it to the Jeep and I shift and get in the back with my backpack.

“Are you both okay?” Kade asks, and I nod “get Sean out of there?” I say, panicked, and Kade smirks and looks over at the forest.

And opens the passenger side door and then gets into the driver's seat of the Jeep. I watch as Sean’s wolf comes out of the forest running towards us, then he shifts into his human form and gets into the car and slams the door.

Kade puts his foot down on the accelerator, and we drive off into the Night.

I look behind us and see my brother’s wolf come out into the clearing, and I close my eyes.

“I, Jasmine, renounce my place in the dark moon pack.”

I feel my bond break to the pack, and I rest my head on the window.

Steph says the same thing, and now we are officially Rogue wolves and free of the pack that treated us so poorly.

Sean turns and looks at Steph and me.

“Are you both okay?” he asks while he finishes buttoning up his Jeans.

“Yeah, we are ok. Thank you for saving us,” I say as I hand back his phone.

Sean pushes the phone back to me “you hold onto it, Jas and don't thank me. We are Mates Jas. I would do anything to keep you safe.”

He then looks at Steph and smiles.

“We have a room set up for you close to Jasmine, and I will make sure you are not treated as you are, and my first request will be that you will be. With Jasmine and never placed in an Omega position again.”

Steph’s mouth drops open.

“Thank you,” she says once she composes herself, then looks out the window, and Sean settles back into his seat.

While I began to worry about the war, I just started leaving the pack. I would hate myself if anything terrible happened to Kade and Sean because of my actions.

*Sean’s POV*

I called my father when Jasmine left Kand and me, and he was Furious about what I told him. Vincent had fooled my dad into believing Jasmine had died.

He sent our wolves there to help around his territory when we thought they had Rogue attacks, and it was for nothing.

So when I told him Jasmine was very much alive and was my Mate, he agreed that what I was doing was correct, and he promised that Steph would be well looked after.

I sent my dad a message telling him we were on our way back and ready for retaliation as I was seen.

Then I put Kade’s phone back in its holder and rested my head back on the seat

I never thought that going out for a drink would bring me, my mate.

I think about her wolf, and it is almost identical to mine. She is Grey with purple markings on her ears, and mine is grey with Blue.

Only wolves with pure lines come with the markings.

I look over at Kade, who is focused on the Road. He has been quiet during the drive; usually, he is bantering with me and being a smart arse, but I know under the circumstances we have no reason for the banter, and Kade will want to get us home safe

“Are you okay?” I ask him, and he looks over at me and grins, “Yeah, I am fine, just trying to get us home safe and sound and make sure our New future Luna and her Friend are protected.”

He says as he looks into the rearview mirror at Jasmine and Steph. I smile, knowing that they will be treated better by us than they have ever been.

I sit up straight when we enter the pack lands and go through the gates.

And we drive to the packhouse to my father standing at the top of the stairs waiting for us.

When the car stops, I open the door and get out, then help Jasmine out, who is holding on to her backpack like it is her lifeline

I place my arm around her, hold her close, and watch as Kade Helps Steph out of the car and guides her up the steps to greet my father.

I walk With Jasmine up the stairs, and my father takes both Girls into his Arms and gives them a Hug.

You are both courageous, and I will not let anyone else harm you again.

He lets them go, and Steph bows and whispers, “Yes, Alpha.” my dad lifts Steph’s Chin so he can look her in the Eye.

“Don't be frightened of me. Kade will show you to your room. We have had some food, and clean clothes sent there for you, and you can see Jasmine anytime you like” Steph looks up at my dad in shock, then looks at Kade, who opens his arms to Steph, then leads her into the house and leaves me with my father

“Now, Sean, have you marked your mate?” he asks with a smirk, knowing I wouldn't mark Jasmine without knowing her first.

I chuckle. “No, Dad, I haven't marked her. We only met tonight, and my dad pats me on the back, then looks at Jasmine, then sits down on the stairs and pats the spot beside him “sit down, sweetheart. I need to know where you want to sleep. You can be in Sean’s room with him, or you can be in your room.”

He says as he pats her Knee, trying to keep her calm.

Jasmine smiles.

“I don't know, sir,” she says with a sigh, and I chuckle.

“You can sleep in my room with me. My wolf wouldn't rest if you are in another room,” I say, telling her the truth and knowing her wolf would get restless.

Jasmine smiles and nods.

“Okay”, she whispers, and I sit next to her.

“I will make room in my cupboards and drawers for you, Jas. I hold out my hand, and she places her hand in mine. Then we leave my father on the stairs. We go to my room, and I place Jasmine’s bag on the chair and show her around.

“You can shower in here, and I will get you some clean clothes.”

I say, not knowing if she has clothes or not. I walk to my wardrobe, get a t-shirt out and a pair of new boxers, and hand them to her.

Jasmine takes them, then goes to her bag and opens it to get some soaps and shampoo out, and then my phone.

She hands it to me. “Thank you”, she says, then comes and kisses me on the cheek, then places the things from her bag on the bed, comes back and gives me a hug.

I kiss her forehead and then hold on to her until Jasmine lets me go and walks to the bathroom.

I leave her alone to wash up and see my father in his office.

“What have they been through?” I ask; my father sighs, then shakes his head.

“Kade is asking the same questions. Steph was shaking like a leaf and asked him to stay with her the night because she was scared Hamish would come for her in the Night.”

I shake my head. “I should have ripped his throat out when I had the chance,” I say as I pour myself a glass of whisky.

My dad chuckles. “you and Kade will keep them safe now. Let's discuss when you will become Alpha now you have found your luna.”

I smile “when mum gets back from violets house, I want her to meet Jasmine first and see if she can help heal the trauma both of them have been through.”

My dad smiles

“Your mother will be home tomorrow, Sean. Now go and make sure your mate is okay.”

I finish my drink and go back to my room. When I walk in, I notice Jasmine Jump and then relax when she sees me.

I get myself a change of clothes, then go and kiss Jasmine on the forehead. “get into bed, love. I will be out soon.”

I leave her and have a shower. I will Make Jasmine at ease if it's the last thing I do.
