"Maya at some point honey you'll have to stop doing that." A soft voice of a woman called inside the room before the lights got turned on and a little girl who was just closing the window looked up with wide eyes before her face instantly mirrored a clueless expression.

"Doing what mommy." The little girl just about the age of fourteen questioned and a hiss was released from the older woman.

"You know what I'm talking about and those innocent eyes don't work on me. Maya I just caught you climbing in your window from wherever it is you run off to at night." The little girl looked down at her feet as she started fidgeting with her fingers.

"Sorry mommy. I just like the sky at night its colorful and looking at it at night its peaceful and I can concentrate better on my drawings then. I don't mean to worry you and father." The little girl said in a a low tone and the older woman walked towards her before bringing the little girl into her arms.

"I know baby. But please this night escapades have to stop, I know its hard but it's dangerous out there and especially now. With the hunters on site its not safe out there and I want you always safe." The older woman said into the little girls ears. Before she straightened and stood before the little girl looking at her pleading.

"I am sorry." The little girl once again said with her eyes cast downwards.

"Baby I'm only trying to look out for you in other circumstances I would have been happy for you and let you explore your artistic calling but for now I want you inside the castle where I can guarantee you're protected. Okay baby girl." The older lady inquired looking at the fidgety girl infront of her.

"Yes mommy."

"Now chin up, my girl bows to no one." The woman said and the girl raised her head before a smile littered her face and so did one on the older woman's face.

"I'm sure Dad would disagree with that." The girl continued further and the older woman let out a chuckle.

"Well there's always the exception." The older woman said and both the ladies chuckled.

"Seems like the air has been cleared up now princess can I have my queen back." A voice of an older man sounded as the man strode inside the room. The queen turned back to look at him before she smiled but swatted the man's arms away when he went to grab her making him wear a sulky face.

"I'm still having a moment with my daughter. Dont be rude." The queen said then looked at the girl who was looking at both of them wearing a big smile and the man turned to her with pleading eyes making her even smile more.

"Alright, my queen it was a pleasure now I won't be holding you back am sure his majesty requires your presence, with you permission." The girl said as she tried to act serious but they all ended up laughing at her attempt.

"You're spoilt." Her mother whispered and the girl giggled.

"Mother if I recall correctly, that ought to be your fault and that of my darling father." The girl said before stepping away quickly and rushing out of the room before either her father could catch her or her mother. She walked down the corridor giggling before she came to the door next to her room and knocked slightly before entering. She sauntered over before she spotted her target and her smile grew even more as she flopped herself onto the bed and a giggle left her mouth as a groan was heard.

"May, what the hell." A voice grumbled beneath her and the girl giggled before she rolled herself to the side of the body she had laid on top of.

"I just missed my brother."

"Its late and unlike you some of us do use night time to sleep." The boy groaned before he opened his eyes and looked at the girl who had a grin on her face.

"Sorry Ash. Now move over." The girl demanded as she rolled the covers down from one side.

"What happened to your room. And bed for that matter." The boy questioned but he still moved over.

"Mother and father happened."

"And..."

"Well I just want to sleep here before you also have to be snatched away from me by your mate." The girl let out before she groaned.

"I know its ridiculous and dont tell me" the girl went on further but the boy only pulled her in an embrace.

"Enjoy it then cause its only a matter of days before I turn eighteen." The boy let out making the girl groan before she sunk on the bed and both found a comfortable position to sleep in.

"I love you May and nothing can ever come between that." The boy let out as he looked at the girl curled beside him.

"I love you too, but dont make that promise Ash, some mates are evil and you know that so I know theres also a chance to what I'm saying happening. But I'll take it. Now consider this conversation as part of my whiny self okay." The boy let out a soft chuckle.

"Shut up and sleep, I know you dont like people thinking you're vulnerable so yeah the convo has been swiped back. Now sleep." The boy said and both smiled before sleep took over them.

"May, May! Wake up lazy head. Its almost time."

"Argh!" A groan left my mouth as the shaking continued and I cursed at the stupid person shaking me up, I just slept a few minutes ago.

"Go away." I grumbled before settling down more into the pillow and covering myself completely hoping to go back to the sleep and the sweet memories that lingered in this world.

"I swear I'm going to get an ice bucket if you dont wake your lazy butt in the next five seconds." The voice said once more and I cursed the asshole for ruining my dream. Those were one of the happy days around this gloomy place and Ash just ruined them I could also tell his threat wasn't a vague one so I threw the covers off and shivered at the chilly cold now regretting my decision of throwing the covers away. I pried my eyes open and looked towards the culprit of waking me up.

"What the hell Ash its barely even midnight now why would you wake me up this late. I was just getting to the good part of my sleep." I groaned as I looked at the clock on my night stand. I groaned once more before feeling for the covers with my legs and pulled them up to where my hand could reach and before I succeeded in my mission of covering myself I felt arms swoop me up and I cursed at the cold that crept onto my skin sending a shiver down my body.

"Now princess, I'm not letting you go back to sleep." I had yet to get my bearings and Ash was really getting on my nerves waking me up at this ungodly hour. Just then before I could scold him my feet hit the cold floor and I shrieked out before trying to climb back up on Ash and he just chuckled and tried to let me down but this time the floor wasn't as cold I was stepping on some slippers I guess. I wore them blindly appreciating not stepping on the cold floor.

"No matter how old you get you're still a circus when woken up." Ash let out and I stomped his feet I hadn't forgotten what time it was which was why my brain was failing to catch up.

"Now wash up." Ash said and before I could register what he meant splashes of water fell onto me and it was pretty cold and Immediately I was up and my eyes were no longer closed. I couldn't even let out a shriek and I wasn't that first. The first wave of the cold water had soaked me up and the amount of shivering that hit me up couldn't allow me to let even out a word. Ash had immediately dashed out. I couldn't spot him anywhere and I cursed him before extending my hand to the water spraying from the shower head and it was warming up and I sighed for that before getting out of my soaked clothes and proceeding to stand below the water letting it warm me up. My sleep was long gone and there was no way I'd be able to salvage it at this point.

I walked back to find Ash by my window looking out at the darkness outside and once again it reminded me of the ungodly hour he just woke me up. I had just closed my eyes literary.

"Stop being grouchy already. I thought the shower would make you realize when today is but I see it has not." Ash said as he turned around looking at me and I'm sure from my expressions he could tell I had no idea what he was going on about.

"Jesus May, its the fifteenth of March." He said as if thats supposed to mean anything. Nop, it hadn't rang a bell. Was it some function I had forgotten about? no, there hasn't been a function held in the castle well since the queen perished.

"May it's your f*****g birthday, eighteenth birthday in about twenty minutes." He said sounding frustrated and I could have laughed at his outburst until his statement loaded in my mind.

"s**t!, s**t! Ash why didn't you remind me." I asked as I rushed about the room looking for the shoal that had been gifted to me by the queen.

"Now I'm to blame when I had to literary carry you out of your bed and force you into the shower whilst fighting you." He asked and I was not in the mood to bicker I just realized in about twenty minutes make that seventeen to be precise I'd be turning eighteen and get to meet my wolf. Wow finally.

"I guess thanks. Now let's go." I said ushering him hurriedly out.

"I've never seen a girl forget her eighteenth birthday, you're supposed to not even get some sleep as you get all giddy waiting to meet your mate." He said and then I realized that that little detail also came with my being eighteen.

"I just want to meet my wolf in peace. Now can you not bicker anymore about this, jeez and they say I'm the child." I said the last bit in a sing song before sprinting across the door and onto the little forest that was next to the castle.

"Did you just call me childish." I heard Ash shout behind me while also sprinting and I laughed as I increased my speed before slowing down once I was by the little moon lake and before long Ash came knocking me over before we rolled through the grass as laughter bubbled from my mouth.

"Say sorry." He begged as he tickled me and my laughter surrounded the little area and his was joining as well.

"Here I thought I'd find a scared little girl, guess its time I accept that will never be you." A voice boomed just next to us putting a stop to Ash's torture and we both sobered up.

"Your majesty." I called making Ash step onto my toes and I let out a grunt before hitting his leg.

"Kids." Annon called.

"Sorry father." Ash called before he gave me a pointed look and I sighed.

"Sorry Dad."

"It's about time Blair." Dad called and I nodded at him before I started shedding my clothes off. I was never one to get nervous but suddenly I started doing and my dad probably saw my distress before he changed into his majestic black wolf and walked next to me before he started nuzzling us and I appreciated it. It gave me the reassurance I needed. Talon's presence, that was my fathers Wolf and Ashton's smile made me relax and I gave myself the pep talk that I can do this. I've been waiting for this since forever.

[You can do it Blair.] I heard my father's reassurance in my mind once more and I let out a breath.

[Let go, don't hold back just let Go, let the feeling take over.] My dad proceeded as I felt the first rash of incredible pain along my belly and I whimpered.

[Let it go Blair the sooner you do the lesser the pain.] I tried to listen to my father's guides as the pain hit again and I wanted to stop it all. It was so painful.

[Daughter, I've never known you to hide away from challenges, dont start now.] This time I could tell it was Talon from the voice and I whimpered again as more pain rushed to my bones and I could feel them snapping. I wanted to curl away but I did as my Dad said. Let go. More pain tore through my body as my bones kept snapping and rearranging and I let out a loud scream as my Jaw too got hit by the wave of the pain and I could feel it snapping and rearranging and I whimpered again as more snapping sounded from my body and screams and grunts tore from my mouth. After a while everything stopped. And I could here her voice. It sounded merely.

{Hi, my name is Liya.} The voice chirped making me laughed before replying.

{I'm Amaya.} I could feel her nodding her head at that and I looked onto my Dad and he nudged me as he Nuzzled me before a grey wolf joined us and it Nuzzled my side too and I purred. I could also feel the other presence in my mind doing so. Was this how it'd be from now henceforth.

{Well yes. Unless you block me.} The same voice answered and I got startled at first before I giggled and so did she. I guess I'd have to get used to it, I've been waiting forever. Liya didn't respond just giggled as she enjoyed the nuzzles.

[Well done Daughter.] Talon spoke and I Nuzzled my head further into his fur.

[Well done May. Wanna see how you look?] Ashton Questioned as his majestic grey wolf which was almost our father's size stood beside us. Tristan was an impressive wolf. I nodded my head as Tristan strolled next to the lake and Talon nudged me forward with his head and I walked towards Tristan before standing next to him by the lake looking at the image reflecting in the waters.

[Beautiful.] I heard my Dad let out and my ears peaked up and my tail started wagging at his compliment which Made Tristan nudge me from my side as I looked onto the waters once again. My white far stood out even in the darkness and I had patches on my my ears as well as the lower side of neck and part of my under belly as well as my tail and my hind legs.

Talon nudged me once again before turning his head to the direction of the forest and I nipped at Tristan before following Talon and not long we were all sprinting towards the end of the forest. I'd get to hunt and for my fast hunt in wolf form they'd show me how to do so. I sprinted along faster, I couldn't wait to catch my fast hunt.
