The Mask of Deception

The city scape shimmered under the soft palette of twilight hues as she moved gracefully down the crimson carpet, a manifestation of elegance and charisma personified. Each stride was a symphony of poise and allure, drawing the gaze of onlookers whose cameras flashed incessantly, immortalizing every nuance of a woman who had not only captured the hearts of audiences on the silver screen but had also graced the covers of revered publications with an innate charm that seemed to defy the very essence of time itself. Faye was greeted with camera flashes, and she posed for them. She entered the hotel reception for the event with a determined stride, her demeanor a blend of confidence and anticipation. As she mingled with guests and colleagues, exchanging warm greetings and navigating the room with grace, a murmur of anticipation rippled through the crowd. Suddenly, Jack burst into the reception, his usually immaculate appearance disheveled with sweat glistening on his brow and hair tousled from the hurried rush. Spotting Faye across the room, his face lit up with relief and affection. He crossed the floor in quick strides, his heart racing with the urgency of his arrival. "You finally arrived" Faye said with a smile on her face holding unto his hand. "Im sorry if i made you come here alone, the company needs to fix something." He whispered on her ear and kissed her on the cheeks again before greeting everyone while holding Faye on the waist. The night was filled with laughter and cheekiness of each attendees, Faye on the other hand found herself drowned into conversation with influential figures whose admiration for her talents. Faye notice the absence of Jack's presence she navigates the entire room and found no jack, so Faye searched through out the room but still could not find jack so she just went back to where her colleagues are. After a few minutes jack sat beside Faye "Where have you been, love?" Faye asked with a smile on her face holding a glass of champagne. "Oh i-i was answering calls from the company, love." Jack said while not looking at Faye "The main event is about to start i really thought i'll be sitting there alone" Faye said with a soft voice and smiled at him again. Faye love Jack deeply she can't live her life without him. Faye hold unto Jack's arms and they went inside the auditorium where the awarding happens, they sat on the chair near the stage and they were spotted there by plenty of known figures in the industry. The host went up "Greetings!! Before we start the awarding i would like to thank the director of this event Mr. Jack Lautner from FCL entertainment company!! and ofcourse our very own sponsors Mr. Luie Adams, Ms. Jenna Swift, Mr. Locke Claude and Mr. and Mrs. Affogato! And also thankyou for our dearest models, actors and actresses for joining this event!" The host said and and all the names said stood up and waved. Everyone was hyped up when the host called his other companion who held the trophy. "Alright let me call on the first award for the Best Supporting Actor/Actresses!" The host said and paused he looked to the card and looked back at the audiences "From the movie of Lovers of Spring, they were voted as the best supporting actor and actress let me call on Mr. Agassi Charlue and Miss Kelly Reyn!!" Everyone was appplauding when the names were being called and Kelly and Agassi went up to the stage together. They were told to make a speech and so they did. "Goodevening, Los Angeles! HAHAHA Oh my gosh! Agassi and I did not really imagine that we could recieve the best supporting actor/actress since there are alot of great actors and actresses out there and we are very thankful for those who supports us, to our lovely fans and to our best girl out there, Faye!! the team was really greatful that Faye was with us filming if not it would not be this succesfull and yeah thankyou very much! We Love You All!!" Kelly finished her speech and immediately went down and gave Faye a hug. Time passes and most of the actors and actresses received their awards and now it's time for Faye's. "Let me Call on to our Best Actress who received 25 straight awards of being the BEST ACTRESS, FAYE CRUISSE!!" Everyone in the room was applauding and she stood up and faced everyone then bows her head down she then holds her husband's hand to join her on the stage but her husband slightly declined and said "It's your time to shine, love." Then removed faye's hand from his. Faye walked unto to the stage wearing a big smile and waved at everyone. when she arrived at the center of the stage she was greeted by the host's a hug and congratulated her. "Thankyou so much." She said as she was handed the award and shake their hands. She hold the award on her left hand then hold the mic on her right hand and said, "This award, although it is not new to me, i still feel so grateful and it feels like what i felt three years ago, when i received my very first award, although it was a best supporting actress award i still have this kind of feeling cold whenever i received this award cause this make my hard work and my fans great support worth it! Thankyou everyone, thankyou! I would also like to express my greatfulness to my husband, Jack who had supported me althrough out my journey and for him to a never ending loyalty and gratefulness he gave to me, I love you." She said then gives out a flying kiss and the crowds applauded. "wow, what great speech we had for our best actress hahaha now let's continue and as we have been observing lots of aspiring actresses had been acknowledge just this year! with the span of 324,546 votes the aspiring actress who will receive this award is no other than Amelia Guzon!!" The host said and Amelia Guzon stoodd up. Faye was shocked when his husband stood up and went to the center stage with her. Although confused she still gave them a smile and applauded for her. "Wow the first ever aspiring actress who's escorted by our director...." Faye heard from the other actors who were sitting behind her. Faye was looking at both of them holding hands and smiling at each other, Faye had doubted but kept a smile on her face. "What can you say to our director who had acknowledge you as an aspiring actress?" The host asked. Amelia smiled and held the mic "First of all, I would like to thank of course my fans and my family who supported me and voted me to begin with, and to Mr. Jack" Amelia stopped her speech then faced Jack "Jack, Thankyou very much ofcourse if not for you, i wouldn't have to receive this kind of award and i am very grateful thankyou very much" She winks at him which made Faye doubtful. Jack chuckled when Amelia winks at her and held the mic, "As the new generation's entertainment company, My team had come up with the idea of giving such awards to some of the aspiring actors and actresses who are with great skills in acting and everything, And this award is to make them strive hard and work harder!" After Jack's speech everyone applauded. The night had marked a pinnacle in their careers—a moment to cherish and celebrate amidst peers and admirers. The day after Faye and Jack both have their own busy schedules back as jack need to compromise to his company and Faye had alot of shoot to do. FAYE's POV I went out early had no time to eat breakfast with jack, I had received another project which we have to shoot as fast as we can so they can launch new episodes during every thursday and friday of each week. My husband and i haven't seen each other much lately and even in our own house i can only see him during morning while he's asleep and when he visits the filming set. "Faye, you're next after Amelia's part." My manager, Lilia said while looking at me and my make up artist retouched my make up. "You're really pretty, Faye." He said while putting powder on my face. "Thankyou, Darius." Darius is my make up artist but before he became the most renowned make up artist he was my best gayfriend. I went straight up to the location where i am about to do my first part of the film i wore a pink suite which complement my body. "Are you ready, Faye?" The director asked and so i nodded. "Yes, director" I responded so he asked me to go to my position and counted "In 3, 2, 1, Action!" I immediately shifted my emotions into the emotions of my character, now i am Hyacinth Levuelch the daughter of a business tycoon. I entered the building of the tallest company in our city, It was named after the first daughter of Mr. Levuelch, HYCL. "Goodmorning, Miss Hyacinth." The manager of the company greeted and so she nodded, My character's personality is a brat whatever she wants she must have it at all cost even asked his dad to buy her an island so her father did. I entered the CEO's office and saw my father, luis, pinning down his little secretary while both of them where exchanging kisses. My expression changed into a disgusted face and interrupted the passionate kissing scene of my dad and his little secretary. "Dad!" I shouted. He was shocked but then immediately fixed himself and his secretary run as fast as she can. "Well what are you doing here, my little princess??" My father asked so i sat on the chair fronting him "well, dadd i want a small favor from you!" i said in a straight forward way and so he nodded, "what is it?" he said with a seriousness in his face. "Well daddy, i want to marry Yohan Guo!" I stated which made him dumbfounded. "W-what?!" He stutter "You heard it right, I want to marry Yohan Guo of the Guo's! I don't want to marry anyone else aside from him! I want him to be mine and mine alone!" I declared infront of him. Although he hesitates he doesn't have a choice because he loves me as his little princess ofcourse he'll grant me my wishes. "But are you sure about this? You know marriage is sacred and you can't just decide to marry someone who doesn't like you back" He worriedly said "but dad i want him no matter what, i want you to propose a marriage alliance with his family immediately if not, im not going home and you'll never see me again!" I said with a threatening voice. He heave a deep sigh and replied, "Fine whatever you want just don't leave me, my dear little princess." he stood up and hold my hands and i nodded. "AND CUT!" "That was a great shot, we only have to take it once, you're very good at this no wonder you're the all time favorite actress of all!" The director complemented me which made me smile and said "Thankyou, my co-actors are also as good as we cooperated." she said and smiled
