PreperationLong ago Sylph had made his home within the Caves of the Wind. At this time, there had been many who mirrored his nature. The sylph were beings of beauty once thought to have been human. Many of his kin had been female, for more often they were found to be more vain than the male. It was said vanity was impure and in great excess corrupted the essence to a point that even the Underworld could not claim the soul. So in a way, those corrupted became echoes, shades walking the land, but their inability to pass through the Gate of Shades made them different in nature, and this difference was how the sylph were born.
