Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, sunset arrived. Kelwyn straightened as the last of the horrible sun vanished behind the hills and removed his hat. He left the glasses on, the light lingering on the horizon was still annoyingly bright. He looked around, finally able to actually take in his surroundings without either dazzling brightness or pain getting in the way. The group had halted and begun to set up camp a little before sunset, though he’d hardly noticed. They were now tucked within a little grove, with tents rising here and there, and a crackling fire at the center of things.
