Chapter 11The sun had risen by the time they’d finished breaking camp, and Kelwyn was once again plunged into a world of pure misery. He was starting to wonder if perhaps he could find somewhere to hole up during the day, and then fly after and catch up with the others when night fell. He’d be whole-heartedly pursuing that solution were it not for the concern about further attacks. There were only a dozen of them, and that meant that being one fewer if another bandit gang or some other danger threatened might matter. So he mounted up and settled his horse in beside Harun’s as they once again set out along the road. Nothing happened that day, though, so Kelwyn merely clung to the saddle and endured the brutal onslaught of the sunlight until darkness once again fell and he was able to join
