Princess Elise

Chapter 1: Birth of the princess William James:  William is the current King of Norway and a soon to be father. He is 25 years old and he's respected and loved by all the people in his kingdom. He has a bulky figure, tall and handsome features, a well-contoured brown beard. William's kingdom is made up only by humans. out there are other kingdoms as well, each of them being made up of their own species. Vampires, witches and humans don't usually pair with each other. It's not a rule or something, they just don't really get along, but werewolves however, in some occasions they will pair with humans or witches (but not vampires 'cause moon goddess won't allow that, and besides, vampires would reject them anyway). And any species can live wherever they want as long as they won't create any problems. (it seems fair to me.) The King is also a loving and faithful husband. Queen Lyrianna: Lyrianna is William's wife and she is expecting a child. She's a lovely young woman of 21 years old. She has long brown hair that reaches her lower back, a slim waist, and has soft features and an athletic body as she have been born a royal herself and been trained from a young age to defend herself and her future kingdom in need. She have been a princess in Ireland. Lyrianna and William have been married out of love as there are held some events and festivals each year where all the Kings, Queens, Dukes, Duchesses, princes and princesses gather together and celebrates. They were spending time together at every gathering. Soon, they fell in love and King Patrik of Ireland, Lyrianna's father, granted his permission to marry his daughter to the future King of Norway. She has a strong nature and is such a wise woman for her age, very calculated, thinking twice before she acts. She brings a great help for the King.  King Alpertti: Alpertti is the King over Finland, the warlock King. As you may have already figured it out, Finland is witches and warlocks territory. There, also lives a few werewolves as they have their mates living there and some vampire families that likes this territory and a few less humans as they don't usually leave their territory if it's not for werewolves's mate bond. He has a slim figure, with green eyes, chestnut brown hair and he's 26 years old. Alpertti is a very serious man and doesn't show many emotions. However, his subjects respects him and would never betray him as he also has a bright mind and would be a loss for the people to have him abdicate. Anyway, despite the species, he's also a close friend to King William and when they have a spare moment, they would arrange a meeting. Queen Aliisa: Aliisa is the Queen over Finland along with her husband, Alpertti. She is 23 years old and just as her husband she has a slim figure, even after she gave birth to a son that now have 5 years, Antonni, heir of Finland. Nathaniel Ragnarson: Nathaniel is the Alpha King in Iceland. A cruel and ruthless man, however, he's not only feared by his subjects, actually a lot of them respects him and are fully loyal to their King 'cause they know that everything he does is for the kingdom's good and safety. He's intelligent, he always keeps his word, no matter what, but he's also short- tempered and gloomy, and most importantly, he values most his honor. Nathaniel is around 6.25 feet tall, a well- built body with strong arms, large chest and a wide back, 8 packs on the abdomen, green eyes and black hair that's slicked back. In his kingdom, there are lycans and average werewolves. I think you can guess that he's not an average werewolf and he's a lycan, a pure blood lycan actually. Nathaniel and Duke Arnar are the one of the few pure blood lycans left. In Iceland, they are the only ones that still exist. Out there are at most 1 pure blood lycan left in every werewolves territory as they are going extinct. They live longer than an average werewolf and has better senses, faster, stronger, quicker healing, and has the power to take someone else's pain away. Duke Arnar have found his mate at the age of 130 years old, now he's 136 years old and have a daughter, named Anna, but King Nathaniel haven't found his mate yet. He's 100 years old now and he grows impatient waiting to find her. Despite his 100 years he looks like he's just a 19 years old young prince. Nathaniel's lycan coat is black, just as his hair and he has red eyes and an impressive height of 7.14 feet and it's name is Clyde.   Duke Arnar:  Arnar is a pure blood lycan in Iceland and one of the close people to the King as he has a lot of connections. They are not exactly friends, but they meet from time to time and discuss political matters. He has a blond hair reaching his shoulders, 6 feet tall and an athletic body, but not in a bulky way as the King is, and brown eyes. He looks like he's 25 years old. He's mate, Helga, is a slender woman, short and blond hair with blue eyes. They felt the connection almost immediately. The Duke's lycan is 6.98 feet tall and has a dirty blonde coat color with blue eyes, named Josh. *** It was such a happy day at the Royal Court. King William James and Queen Lyrianna in the Norway kingdom were expecting a child. All the Duchy, County, Marquesy, Barony houses and a lot of other Kings and Queens of other territories like King of Iceland, Duke and Duchess of Iceland, King  and Queen of Finland, King of Ireland, King and Queen of Denmark and King and Queen of Sweden and even the commoner people has gathered to celebrate the birth of princess and give her gifts and blessings. The commoners were just curious to find out what is the little princess's name and how she looks like.  The birth of the little child was announced as soon as the Queen's water broke. It was a painful experience for the young Queen but worth it all in the end when she got to hold her baby in her arms for the first time. King William was waiting in the door frame to know the gender of the baby and because he couldn't look at his wife at that moment 'cause he was afraid of fainting in front of her. As soon as the child came out Lyrianna shed tears of happiness to see her newborn.  -" Your highness!", yelled the midwife as she handed the baby to the Queen. " It's a girl! You have a beautiful and healthy baby girl.", she said with excitement in her voice. The Queen couldn't do anything expect for holding her baby in her arms and cry her eyes out of happiness. The King rushed to her side immediately and ordered for everyone to get out of the chamber. He threw himself next to her side of the bed on his knees and gently wiped her tears with his thumbs and kissed her forehead. He wished for a boy but it didn't matter as long as his little girl was healthy. That was all he cared about at that moment. Three days later, when all the nobles arrived, they hold a feast within the palace walls with all the Kings, Queens, Dukes, Duchesses, but firstly they came out at the balcony of the castle and hold their baby girl up for a few moments so everyone gathered there could see the beautiful princess. Everyone was exited that they got to see her and they clapped and screamed frantically. When they entered the great hall where the feast was having place, all the nobles came one by one to give her gifts.  In the great hall are 2 thrones on the western wall, the King's throne is on the right and the Queen's on the left and in between of them is a beautiful craved crib in massive wood in a semi moon shape, painted in silver and light yellow shades. All the tables and chairs are made of massive wood, just like the crib of the princess. In front of the thrones was placed a long table and at the right of the King was seated King Alpertti and little prince Antonni and on the left of the Queen Lyrianna was seated Queen Aliisa. They were chosen to be the godparents of the little princess. Everywhere in the hall were hanging crystals chandeliers with a lot of flowers around and the tables and chairs were also decorated with flowers, white and light pink roses. For the nobles invited in the great hall were prepared round tables. The King and Queen were sitting on their thrones, receiving the gifts. Alpha King of Iceland was the las one to offer his gift to the little princess, and he did, but then he felt something is wrong. He felt a smell of raspberries and pine tree, his favorite smells, and his heart was racing like crazy and his wolf was screaming the word "MATE". He couldn't believe his eyes that a newborn baby was his fated mate, but it was true indeed. He gave the King a little toy for the princess before he stopped and looked straight into the King's eyes. -" King William, I need to talk about some matters with you. It's extremely important.", he said in a serious voice  making King William confused for a brief moment, just like everyone else present in the hall, but snapped out of it and walked with him to a more private place where they could talk. They headed upstairs in the palace west wing to the balcony. -" What is so 'extremely' important to discuss privately, King Nathaniel?", asked William confused. -" Your daughter, the little princess, what's her name?", responded with another question Nathaniel with a stone cold tone in his voice. William's confusion grew even more and frowned. -" Your highness, I can't understand. What's with the sudden question? Her name is going to be revealed in the great hall for everyone, what is the matter with your rush to know?I haven't realized that you were found of children, your highness.", said William still frowning with a polite smile on his lips, but he's going to regret asking Nathaniel what's with his rush knowing his daughter's name.  -" I am not found of children, I am found of my mate and I want to hear her name before anyone else does.", retorted the Alpha King in a serious voice, not flinching an inch from his place. -" I'm sorry, your highness, but I think that I misunderstood what you just said.", said William with a confused smile on his face. " Did you just called my newborn daughter your mate?" And as he finished repeating his words and seeing that he is still sitting in front of him dead serious, his confused smile dropped immediately as he realized that King Nathaniel  made no confusion in what he said.  -" What is not to understand, King William? Turns out your daughter, the little princess, is my fated mate, chosen for me by the moon goddess.", answered Nathaniel with a mischievous smile. " I just wanted to inform you in private that I'm gonna come back to claim my mate on her 19 birthday and to discuss some arrangements for the big day, don't you think it's necessary? maybe my future father in law have some expectations from me or rules to follow and perhaps prohibitions, because I sure do have some rules for her to follow as she will grow up.", he said in an all mighty tone with a serious face. King William knew Nathaniel's reputation for being a cruel man and a beast in the true sense of the word. Some even says he has no heart at all and he can't be defeated in a battle, not even cursed, even by his highness, the warlock King Alpertti could not put a spell on him. He wanted his daughter to be happy and to marry out of love like him and her mother did, not living all her life fearing the Alpha King or feeling unloved by her own husband. But he had no choice but to accept and negotiate with him the conditions of the agreement. He couldn't risk the kingdom's safety by angering the most powerful and feared King nearby his kingdom. All the kingdoms around have signed an armistice of peace, but King Nathaniel would violate the armistice to get what he wants and William knows it. As nobody wants to be on Nathaniel's bad side and would not come to fight on William's side, he couldn't afford to start a w.ar with the Alpha King. -" What are your conditions as my daughter will grow up, King Nathaniel?", asked William with a heavy heart. -" Oh, William, what is with that sad face of yours?", said Nathaniel in a mocking tone with a fake concerned expression, " Let's cheer up a bit, shall we? Don't be so sorrowful, after all, your daughter was going to marry a noble man at 20 in any way, why the bitter expression?", retorted Nathaniel carrying on with the mischievous smile of his, provoking William to say something out of his place. -" Let's keep a formal tone, King Nathaniel, shall we?", asked William getting more irritated by each second passing. -" Alright...", said Nathaniel pausing for a moment with an eyebrow raised then continued, "... King William.", in a defying tone. " Let's talk about my future wife then", he said coming closer to William with a smirk on his lips. -" Which are your requests of my daughter?", asked William in a sad tone.  -" Oh, well, nothing that she couldn't do, I'm sure of it.", he paused for a moment and then began to tell his requests as he paced around the balcony with his back turned at William, " I want her to know that she is betrothed and has a husband chosen and has to be faithful to me 'till I come to get her. I want her to have at her disposal someone well-trained that can teach her to defend herself, that including s.wards fighting, bow and arrows, d.aggers and hand-to-hand combat. I want her to be well schooled, here, in your kingdom and to be able to help me in political matters just as your Queen advises and supports you.", and then he paused to turn around and face William for a brief moment and continued, " we all know that you have a wise Queen by your side. And I also want her to know about all of our customs in the lycan world, not what noble women usually learns about our average werewolves, and when I say all, I mean ALL, even the mating process for lycans and what she's gonna go thru after the mating ritual, but of course, you don't have any records about it so I will have to send her myself some documents written by me when she will turn 18. And the most important thing on my list is that I'm going to meet her and spend some time with her when she turns 17, in that time we are going to talk and befriend each other so she could feel comfortable around me.", as he finished presenting his requests list, he turned around for good, facing William with a smirk on his lips. William found his requests quite reasonable so he decided to accept King Nathaniel's wished. -" If that't all you are asking for from my daughter, I think I can accept it.", confessed William feeling a little relieved hearing him, ... until he spoke again. -" Oh, how could I forget...", he paused with a fake concerned look on his face. " I am so inadvertently sometimes", he giggled, " I want her to sleep in my chambers 7 days a week.", hearing this, King William felt offended because he didn't thought that he would speak so boldly in front of him, but also couldn't do anything because he knew from Nathaniel's expression that he won't negotiate about it and it would be useless to argue over this.  -" So, King William, saying this... I think that you might want to impose on me some rules and  prohibitions as well?" -" Yes, I do actually.", replied William with a fake smile playing on his face. " I want you to promise me that you will take care of my precious daughter and keep her happy and safe. She will learn all those techniques of defend and fighting skills, she will learn about your mating ritual and will be taught to help you with anything you need; politics, giving you an heir, support you whenever you need, but you shall fulfill her wishes as well, anything that makes her unhappy, you shall make it right and put a smile on her face, and the most important thing for me...", William paused for a moment before he spoke again with a stone cold expression on his face, " do NOT raise your hands upon my daughter!", he was full of anger at the thought that his princess will be sent away to the beast and he could raise his filthy paws at his baby. He is her father after all and wants to ensure her happiness. Then he hears Nathaniel's laughter echoing in the cold night from the balcony so laud that can even be heard from the great hall where the guests were waiting for the King's William arrival and King Nathaniel's. The guests and Queen Lyrianna were waiting for quite some time and they grew anxious, everybody knowing Nathaniel's reputation. They exchanged some worried glances and got back to eat as no one knew what to do or say. Lyrianna wanted to send a guard to see if William's alright, but that would only make things worse if it would have been the case of an argument, or showing that they don't trust Nathaniel enough to let him speak to the King privately would anger him and start a fight over this.Is known that he's a short-tempered man. -" Don't get me wrong, but do you think that I need your Majesty to tell me to keep my mate happy and safe?", saying this, Nathaniel started to laugh again and reassured the King, " If this is your only concern , I can assure you that she's going to be just fine by my side; and now if you don't mind, I would like to see the princess one more time before I leave, I have to deal with something back in my kingdom, otherwise I would have left tomorrow. Shall we?", as he said this, he bowed a little and kept his hands showing for the exit and back into the castle from the balcony as leading William to the direction. King William lowered his head in a small bow to acknowledge King Nathaniel's offer of him leading the way back inside followed close by Nathaniel with a smirk. When they entered the great hall, everyone present there looked at the two rulers curious about what they have been talking about for so long, but nobody dared to ask in such a crowded place and  risk to anger a ruler, and when I say 'a ruler' , I'm referring to King Nathaniel, of course, so they remained silent. King William faked a smile so he won't ruin the night for everyone else while Nathaniel were smiling mischievously next to him like he just won the biggest battle of his life. They stopped for a few seconds at the entrance of the great hall to look around and then proceeded to walk forward to the crib where the little princess was sleeping peacefully by now. Nathaniel forced himself not to smile at the thought that he have found his mate, but he didn't want to show any emotion, he couldn't do anything anyway, she was just a baby, it was still a shook for him, but he couldn't do anything to change the fact that he had to wait for her to grow up. William cleared his throat before he spoke.  -" Esteemed nobles, I've gathered you here today to celebrate the birth of my daughter. Tonight, with you, I want to introduce you to Elise, the new princess of Norway!", King William's voice echoed in the great hall so everyone could hear the name of his daughter, but of course, Nathaniel have already heard it, as that was one of his requests, to know her name before anyone else present there does. Just as him, Clyde was also smirking and feeling proud inside his head. Everyone in the great hall started clapping their hands and applaud her name. Elise woke up from all that noise, but she didn't cry, she was just a calm baby, crying only when she's hungry or when she needs to be changed, otherwise she's a little angel. She looked directly into Nathaniel's eyes. The little baby seemed quite found of the tall young man siting in front of her and Nathaniel felt relieved that she didn't start crying like all the other babies do when they saw him because of his powerful aura. Maybe she won't be so afraid of him when they will meet when she's older, or disgusted by the thought that she has to marry the Alpha King at 20. He may take her away at 19, but they needed time to accommodate and he knew that he couldn't do anything to her 'till she's 20 years old. Not long after Nathaniel left for his territory, everyone else also retreated to theirs, or in King Alpertti and Queen Aliisa's case , they retreated to the guests chambers along with little Antonni.
