The Devil’s Innocent Girlfriend

It was another boring day in hell for Asmodeus, the Prince of Lust. He’s one of the famous seven deadly sins princes that ruled hell. Today, as usual, he’s doing his daily job, torturing a human’s soul, and he’s starting to get sick of it. Today’s menu is a soul of a man. He had been involved in many affairs with several women during his lifetime on earth, and he was more than deserved to get punished here because of his sin.  As the lust devil looked over the big screen that displayed all the man wrongdoing on earth, Asmodeus couldn’t help but think. How would it feel like to be live there on earth? “Still fascinated by the human’s world, I see?” He suddenly heard Lucifer’s voice from behind him. Lucifer was his big brother, titled the Prince of Pride. He scoffed at his brother’s words as if it was such a huge joke to him. “It just looks…less boring than here…” Amadeus replied, still looking into the big screen of human interaction on earth.  “It was indeed far more interesting than whipping and torturing a soul here, brother…” Lucifer said in a convincing tone. Asmodeus turned to look at his brother, “Just tell me what do you want…I will fulfill your wish since it was your hundred thousand years’ birthday today. It was a celebration for a demon. You finally are an adult demon here.” Lucifer continued to persuade his second eldest brother. “I want to taste and experience the human world…” Asmodeus finally said. Lucifer curved a sly smirk. “Okay, but only a year, brother…Then you should go back to hell,” Lucifer said. “Deal!” Asmodeus said without a doubt. He snapped his fingers, and all of a sudden, Asmodeus was sucked into the darkness. ************** Asmodeus woke up in a king-sized bed. As he got up and roamed his eyes around the place, which he presumed was his home during his ‘vacation’ on earth. He couldn’t help but smile in content. This penthouse is perfect for luring a woman. He thinks. After all, he was just a demon that was full of lust. He promised himself to fully experience the taste of his own sin. He got off the bed while stretching his body, uncaring that his human form was fully naked, and walked with poise towards the huge mirror not far from the bed. “Nice…” he said smiling, feeling satisfied by how he looked on earth. His human has dark brown hair, high cheekbones, and a masculine jaw. But what intrigues him the most was his eyes. It has an alluring light brown color that turned into yellowish gold under the morning sunlight. His body was toned but not too bulky. The only thing he could complain about was his age. His human looked so young. He assumed that he was not more than twenty years old. Why didn’t Lucifer gave him a more mature human age? Then he might have more fun since women are usually drawn to a more mature man. He shrugged his shoulders and proceeded to do a morning routine like an average human. One thing he learned from hell is that human usually takes showers twice a day, and had breakfast before starting off their day. After settling with an all-black outfit from head to toe, he walked out of his bedroom and prepared himself some breakfast. Asmodeus never learned how to cook, so he failed many times in his attempt to make pancakes. It turns out, flipping a pancake is harder than whipping a human soul in hell. He dropped the third pancake and cursed out loud. Maybe he should just skip the breakfast. He thinks. But soon, his stomach is growling. He couldn’t help but to felt pity towards his human. He was so weak, not even can handle a little bit of hunger. He took a slice of bread and popped them inside the toaster. He then spread some peanut butter evenly on top of it and add some slimy purplish thing human called “jelly.” He squinted his eyes while chewing the food as he prepared for an awful taste on his taste bud. He finds the jelly a little bit disgusting. But after a few bites, he surprisingly enjoyed the tangy and savory taste of the toast. His smiles went wide after he finished with his breakfast. This is an excellent first morning of his life on earth. He found his backpack on the sofa and took out his wallet. He even had an ID now. “Adam Cohen”, age 19. Student of chemistry major at Cornell University, New York. Sounds good to me. He thinks. He shrugged his shoulder and took his backpack with him. ********************* As he walked into the street of New York, he can’t stop his eyes from drolling over beautiful women across the street. He had a nice car in his garage, but he wanted to enjoy the beautiful weather since it was his first day on earth. It was summer in New York. People here wear ‘less’ clothes. The place was full of women displaying their assets into his lustful eyes. Many women were also throwing him a seductive smile and flirted with him. He presumed it was because of the handsome appearance of his human form. The human world is perfect for him. He took a mental note to ask Lucifer to extend his playtime here the next time they met. It took him an hour to reach his university because he took a detour during his trip. He was still fully mesmerized by the whole weather and trees on earth that he wasn’t aware that he was about to bump into someone in front of him. “Ouch!!” The woman said as she fell on her ass to the ground. He was shocked since he didn’t saw her earlier. He stretched out his hand to help her, but she never accepts them. The unknown woman got up by herself then looked into him with an angered expression. “Are you blind? Watch where you’re going!” she snarled at him. He didn’t pay any attention to what she said since he was so caught up by her beauty. He had seen many beautiful women in the street before this, but this one is different. Her face is so innocent yet alluring. Her long hair was braided to the back. She has a fiery attitude in her hazel eyes, which only sparks his interest in her. He swore that he would make this woman fall for him and take her into his bed. Hopefully…soon. “My name is Adam… Want to hang out together?” He cleared his throat, then giving her his most seductive smile. She scoffed at him. He looked undeniably handsome and attractive to her, with a masculine face, but very cocky to think that she will agree to his trap. She’s never interested in having a relationship with a playboy anyway. “Nah, I’m good…” The woman refused coldly, then walked past him. Strange! She’s the first woman on the earth that was immune to his charm. He was the prince of lust, for God’s sake! Is she even normal? He looked back, only to find out that a man came towards her and draped his hand over her shoulder. They were chatting and what he hated the most is that she smiled at him. Why can’t she smile at him the same way? It was the most beautiful smile he had ever seen.
