Harper swallowed at his words. She found her heart beating at an abnormal speed, and she didn’t like it. “You’re unbelievable!?” Harper said as she pushed him back, earning a low chuckle from him. “Now try to get some sleep…” Sean said as he lay on the bed and closed his eyes.
Harper rolled back her eyes at him. He couldn’t possibly expect her to sleep in the same bed, right? Harper angrily grabbed her pillow and went towards the sofa. She fixed her position as she curled up on the small sofa. Thank God it could fit her small frame perfectly.
She was soon drifted into sleep. Things that happened today already drained all of her energy.
