Attarah awoke with a jolt, the morning sun had arisen and Miranda stood at the foot of her bed holding a pile of clothes and a beam. Attarah groaned and rolled away with an unflattering groan of discontent, her ribs throbbing and her throat dry. She pulled the blankets over her head, only for them to be ripped off by a strong force. She glared up into the Ruby eyes of Caius Volturi who leant against the bed with a smirk, his right hand positioned on the headboard so he could be as close to her as possible while in that stance. "Come now Attarah" he smirked and grabbed her arm, lifting her effortlessly with no strain on either party and placing her on her feet on the floor of the male's bedroom. She stumbled and he gripped waist to hold her. "Collect your bearings, dear Attarah, wouldn't want to leave Aro waiting too long now would you." He smirked and disappeared, this time she truly did fall to the floor with a moan. Luckily that was where her blankets had been deposited and she curled into them. "No" Miranda charted as she grabbed the weak girl once more and forced her to stand. Attarah was dragged away into the adjoining bathroom with a discontented sigh. When she next emerged, she was decked in winter clothing and had a frown on her face. She wore thick dark blue skinny jeans which restricted movement, a grey and white shirt that was too long and she swore was stolen from one of the kings, a thick Superdry hoodie, a pink top shop raincoat, pale timberlands and had a bundle of scarfs and gloves in her arms. She was confused, to say the least as the sun shone in through the window. With a newfound curiosity for her later destination, she voyaged to the door. Only to be stopped by Jane who stood with a smirk, the young blonde grabbed her arm and dragged her all the way back to the bathroom with a paper package under her arms. "Right, hold still" the guard demanded and Attarah did as told but was shocked when Jane pulled her trousers down and stabbed her in the behind with a long needle, injecting a cold substance. She frowned in utter confusion. "I did that to you when you first arrived Attarah, it stops your periods. Three months until the next injection okay?" "Uh...right...sure" she nodded with a frown on her features as she rearranged her undergarments to sit properly around her throbbing behind. "Why though?" "Blood Attarah? I don't really think it's worth all the blood, even if it's not pure you still live in a castle of vampires" Jane shrugged and disappeared. Attarah headed back to the room and grabbed the handle of her suitcase, her scarf, hat and gloves in her other fist. Trekking down the steps of the castle with a heavy suitcase was hard work but she finally got to the doors where her mates were waiting. She was going for less than a week but still had a case that would suit her happily for a year. She found her mates easily, all three lined up waiting patiently for her to arrive though Aro was somewhat less patient as he frequently checked his watch. "Attarah" Caius smiled, the first to greet her. She was instantly pulled into his chest for a cuddle and she giggled as she tightened her hold around his torso. A peck later and she was moving on to say farewell to Marcus. This particular departure seemed harder, she felt as though more ties connected her to Marcus at that time though she loved them equally. She gripped Aro's hand and he smiled down at her sweetly, knowing he had a lot of making up to do though hoping that his jam-packed agenda would suffice. They headed out the doors with Felix, Alec and Demetri on their tail. The rows of guards on either side gave their own familiar farewells, some smiling and others waving, as the group passed. Eventually, they entered the forest, leaves fluttering down around them. It was autumn, becoming winter and Attarah loved it though she felt oddly overheated in her many layers of clothes. It did not take her long to get tired and she effortlessly hopped onto Felix's back, he chuckled and grabbed her legs. Aro sent a dark glare at his guard at the closeness but didn't say anything. He was fully aware that he had a lot of making up to do from the events of a few days prior. "Here we are" Aro announced and grabbed his mates waist from behind, lifting her away from the guard and carrying her up the steps onto the jet. The future queen had a downturned expression but didn't bother to speak as she was forced into a seat and buckled in. In the back of her mind, she wondered where they were heading though Aro's cold hands against her skin distracted her from thinking straight. It felt like hours before her eyes finally felt too heavy to hold open. When she slipped off to sleep, her head fell onto her mate's shoulder. Aro smiled secretly as his mind went over everything that they would be able to do over their trip. They were heading to Iceland and Aro was beyond excited.  Aro walked swiftly through the trees. The ground was frosty though snow neglected to cover the land in the winter wonderland the guards expected. It was cold and chilly for the human body though light shone down and brightly as seen in Italy, in fact, it was not that different from the boot-shaped European country but they were aware that a few sights were a beauty to behold. "I was expecting snow" Felix whispered over loudly to the posse and everyone frowned on his direction. Aro had taken the lead with the three circling around him. In his arms, the frail form of Attarah could be seen holding onto Aro for dear life as she slept, she quaked like a leaf in a gale from the cold and the group were travelling at immense speed through Iceland. "I think you're thinking of Greenland" Alec corrected with an eye roll and Felix frowned, after so many years he was still yet to understand geography. "So Iceland is green and Greenland is icy?" He questioned for confirmation and the other two guards nodded. "Snazzy" he smirked as they eventually reached their desired destination. Before them within the thick forestation, a large structure sprouted from the earth, climbing a nearby hillside and dwarfing them as they glanced upwards. It was crafted from the finest woods, trees encircling the build which rose high above their canopy. Glass panes decorated the extravagant wooden mansion though as the guards and king scrutinized the mansion for any flaw, they couldn't help but notice it's lack of extravagance and appeal held for them to it. Together the group entered the building, Aro artfully dodging to avoid smashing his mates head in with the mahogany door frame. The guards seemingly disappeared into air and Aro glared at the place they had been, noting minutely the fact that they had not been dismissed. He soon set his future Queen down on a large couch that stretched across the 'sitting room' the room was one of many which were similar. They all held familiar warmth that couldn't be placed, they were small, overly decorated and filled with candles and furs along with a dominant fireplace. It was dark red in places, warm browns and creams in others. Though Aro had a mundane opinion of the decorations, he somehow knew that the girl in his arms would adore it. Aro quickly dispersed, heading to take the suitcases into the room next door. The house had been split into sectors, each making up a network of rooms that would usually each be rented individually but Aro had purchased the entire mansion for the month, even striking up a future deal. The apartment Aro and Attarah were staying in was on the bottom floor, it was the largest of the twelve apartments and had many rooms but the grand bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and sitting room were all attached to one another through small tunnels, the door shaped oddly in Aro's opinions and the ceilings low but open to reveal the beams, some only a foot or two above the kings head in some locations. Attarah rolled over, stirring but remaining partially unresponsive. She snuggled deeper into the warmth below her. The woodsy smell and thick, long, soft fur between her fingers soothed her, reminding her of her Wolf friends. At the thought, she startled, thinking for a split second that she had returned to her home in Forks. She was confused for a long period of time, struck by the foreign surroundings that she somehow seemed familiar with. The crackling of the fire and the wood piled beside it forced her brain to spin in circles thinking about a certain Chief who she missed more than anything. She attempted to force the thoughts away but at the same time she didn't want to, they were welcoming memories that proved to her she could never forget her beloved father. A voice broke her from her trance "Attarah, you're awake" she whipped around to see Aro and her face fell, not because she was unhappy to see him but because for a brief moment she thought she was about to see her father once more. She often wondered what they had told her father for him to allow her to go, she hoped it was a big lie to disguise the truth but sue also almost wished they'd told him the truth. She always resented hiding things from him. "Attarah?" He asked again and she looked up at him through her eyelashes, scrutinizing his outfit change. He stood tall as usual, his cloak was gone along with his suit jacket and tie. He stood in a crisp white shirt the collar opened a bit, the sleeves rolled up to just below his elbows. His black dress shoes and trousers were still in place but he looked more relaxed as his inky hair bled around the white of the shirt, splayed along his back in perfect locks. "Where are we?"  --- Attarah rolled over in the sheets that surrounded her, reminiscing in the peace and quiet of the mansion that the castle just seemed to lack. The previous day had been brilliant for her, Aro seemed to recognize her unwillingness to complete any form of activity as they stayed within the warm confinements all day, watching winter films and talking like they never had before. But somehow, that peace and relaxation quickly shattered as Aro marched into the bedroom at six o clock in the morning and began reciting a well-rehearsed agenda for the day. She rolled her eyes and attempted to hide beneath the pillows but to no avail. Rolling over, she peeled her self out of the bed. Aro quickly dispersed, leaving only an outfit neatly placed upon her sheets. She frowned, it consisted of tight black jeans, a see-through cropped top, heeled boots and the only sensible piece of clothing...a thick raincoat, similar if not identical to the one she wore when she travelled to England. However the colours were different, this one is a light grey. And so she went against her future husband's decision and wore only the coat and jeans, replacing the T-shirt with one similar that was plain and black and replacing the shoes with ones that did not have heels. She felt much more comfortable and smiled as she released her hair from the confinements of the elastic that tugged her locks. The curls bounced in all directions before settling and with a couple of tweaks, she was happy. Waltzing into the sitting room, she found Aro fully dressed beside the fire, reading a newspaper with his ankle crossed onto his knee. She would never get used to seeing him in normal clothes...or seeing him at all, he was a god. What happened next was out of control, she froze as a thought ran through her mind. She was in a woodsy cabin with her three mates all dressed casually, though something was different. Aro sat in the same position reading a newspaper but now an adorable six-year-old boy sat on his lap giggling, his chocolate locks identical to her own but with eyes like Aro. In her imagination, she glanced down to see a small girl around the same age as the boy, this one too with chocolate brown hair in large curls but it had tints of a lighter shade, like Marcus and her eyes were a brilliant blue. Acting from imagination alone, the fake Attarah lifted the girl onto her hip and giggled, the two chatting a small amount about the upcoming Christmas. The last thing she saw through the vision was her mates smiling at her before it disappeared but it played on her mind. She knew she was no seer like Alice and it was purely a production of desires but it didn't occur to her that she even wanted children until that moment. She knew she could never have one, let alone two. "Attarah?" Aro asked and her eyes snapped upwards, he now stood directly in front of her with a concerned look on his features. She smiled to dismiss his confusion and he returned it. "Sorry I blanked out for a moment." She lied and shook herself mentally. He smiled and took her hand, assessing her outfit but saying nothing. The two headed through the sitting room to the kitchen, she was starving.....figuratively. Aro pushed her to sit and he began to cook her something to eat. All the while her mind was reeling, recalling the daydream she'd had. As she sat there more images of the children flashed through her mind. She could vividly see a violet and lilac bedroom before her eyes, she was sat on the bed next to the little girl, reading a story as the sweet child drifted to sleep. Now that the children were in her head, she could think of nothing else. For some reason, a switch flipped in her mind and she knew from then on that she would do anything...anything at all, it took to make her dream a reality, little did she know how possible her idea truly was.  --- Attarah groaned loudly as she wandered around a cute little Icelandic street, inspecting small items on tables with elderly men and women smiling cheerily at her. It felt like Christmas to her and it had proved to be an unwanted feeling considering she had brought any presents for anyone in the castle or outside of it. She welcomed the day off, Aro had been dragging her around the place for days going to a variety of time-consuming activities. Attarah found an adorable looking store and headed inside. She was vaguely aware that Alec and Demetri hovered not too far away in case she needed help. The store was beautiful and made her smile. It was decorated with a Christmas theme and she wandered around the aisles, seeming to be one of the only people in the store. She came across an aisle packed full of baby toys and clothed but avoided it hastily as she headed to a dress aisle. She hoped to find a dress for Jane that had colour, the petite blonde only ever wore black.   Eventually, Attarah found a dress tucked at the back of a rack in the store, it was blue and tight at the waist but flared from the hips perfectly. It fit Aro's dress code (which Attarah had only just discovered existed) she whispered for Alec under her breath and he entered the store a moment later, walking toward her. "What do you think of this dress for Jane?" She asked and the twin assessed it with no emotion in his face before smiling and nodding. It took Attarah no time to get to the till and the lady smiled at her. Attarah had been given more spending money than she could ever use but it made her smile that for the first time in her life, she wasn't scraping the bottom of her purse to pay for things. "Beautiful dress, for you?" The lady asked. "No, for a very good friend of mine" "A lucky friend indeed." The lady smiled and carefully bagged the dress, possibly slower than needed. Alec walked away and the lady seemed happy about it as she turned to Attarah  "you shall get your deepest wish darling Attarah, you need only work for it" the lady said and the future queen frowned intensel.... How did the lady know her name? And how did the lady know she wanted something? "I must now go" Attarah attempted to remain polite, acting as though she had not heard the lady. Outside in the street, Felix popped up, frowning deeply and placed his hand on the back of Attarahs shoulders...he had heard the lady. Hastily they headed away from the street and the dress bag was snatched from her hands, taken by Demetri as they reached the car. "I don't understand what the big deal is, she must have just heard me talking to you three before I went in the shop and made up nonsense to scare me" Attarah attempted in confusion. "You're wrong Attarah, that's Gweneth Nightstone, she's an allegedly powerful seer." Demetri explained softly, sat beside her in the back seat as they travelled to the house once more. "A what?!" Attarah was now slightly angry. Why was it that everyone insisted to keep her in the dark for long amounts of time for no real reason. She frowned heavily in upset as they reached the house, she was just glad they would be returning to Italy in a few days. However, when she entered the house, she was proved wrong and all of their luggage was stacked by the door. An impatient Aro waiting nervously against the door frame. The second they walked through the door, they were marched back out. She gave up asking questions, Aro merely stated that he had urgent business to attend to and she was in no position to contradict, she wanted to go home and when she said home...she didn't mean Italy. It was her birthday soon, not that any of the kings seemed to notice, she didn't want to spend her eighteenth birthday in a castle where nobody cared. She wasn't going to mention her birthday, surely with their super memories, they would know? She didn't mind, she no longer wished to celebrate her birthday, it was meaningless to her. Somehow her holiday with Aro had sped along and was utterly useless. Skiing and hiding and snowboarding...all of it, yet it still all felt meaningless because Aro didn't even take part. He just sat back and watched her be grumpy without a single care in the world. She couldn't wait to get back to Italy.
