Attarah awoke and glanced around, she knew the date better than ever before. Though she was not aware of the location of her mates. Today was her birthday, and it also happened to be the day she went on holiday with Caius. They were to be travelling somewhere warm, that was the extent of her knowledge but it didn't sit right with her. In the middle of December, it was supposed to be cold.
Heading down the many stone steps of the castle, she passed many guards and servants. The castle was alive with movement, people clasped robes and dresses, tying back their hair and preparing though she knew not what for. Entering the throne room, her mates sat upon their thrones seemingly high and mighty though they melted at her gaze.
"Good morning dear one" Aro smiled and she returned it cutely. She had come to the realization in the early hours of the morning that the men had forgotten her birthday. Though she somewhat appreciated it. That was the way she thought it intended to be. Taking a seat in Caius' lap, she snuggled into his chest, still tired.
"Urgent business has occurred gorgeous one." Caius began "for your birthday we had planned a great ball, however, it has unfortunately been delayed. I hope you can forgive us" her eyes snapped up in shock. she was not prepared for them to have remembered though with near eidetic memories, she shouldn't have been surprised.
"I thought you'd forgotten" she spoke, casting her eyes downwards towards her lap and breathing in softly before looking up apologetically through lashes.
"Never my love" Caius corrected and placed a hand to her chin, tilting her face upwards so their lips met perfectly. He smiled in happiness as he felt warmth pass through him along with a burn-in his throat which he savoured. It meant she was near.
"We leave soon"
"Can't you tell me where we're going?" She pleaded and he winked at her, a sign which indicated his lips were sealed. Standing, she brushed off her clothes and travelled back up the long flights of stairs to change once more for the day's adventures. Finding Miranda at the foot of her bed with a pile of clothes and a tray of food, she smiled. Receiving a wink from her private guards she giggled and they dispersed to their previous locations.
"Today shall be good" Miranda informed, her English was improving due to the aid and guidance of Attarah. At any point, if Miranda used English incorrectly, Attarah would correct her and in return...Miranda was teaching Attarah how to speak Italian with startling progress, Attarah had gotten the hang of key vocabulary and could understand most conversations people had, her speaking however required work still.
Attarah adored the fact that she knew what the kings were saying yet they did not know that she knew. Sometimes she'd house a secret smile yet somehow they were still oblivious. Miranda twisted Attarahs hair upwards tightly to a position where it would likely remain without upset for a couple of days of not touched but Attarah tended to fiddle.
"Are you excited?"
"Of course I am, I'm sure my holiday with Caius will be amazing" she giggled and Miranda smirked knowingly. "I don't suppose you could-" she was cut off.
"-I am under strict orders to not say a word about the location of your holiday. Wait a few hours and I'm sure you'll know. " Miranda charted like a mother and tapped Attarahs shoulder, indicating that she had finished fixing her hair.
"Thanks, Miranda" the future vampire spoke softly before being allowed to leave the chair and wander around the chambers, devouring the food she smeared the freshly painted makeup upon her face which allowed her to receive a glare from her handmaiden.
"Sorry. "

December 14th ...
Caius Volturi entered his lover's bedroom within the grand castles and found her on the opposite side of the mahogany door, seated and awaiting his arrival. He smiled at her gently, taking in her perfect features as she took in his. No measure of time could distract from her beauty in his eyes. She was a picture to be stared at for many hours. One would never get bored.
"Hello, Dear one. How are you enjoying your day?" he strained a smile. He had come to the conclusion that he and his fellow kings should celebrate her birthday as she had only a few remaining but his brothers were not to agree. "I apologize for the lack of celebration. I will throw you the most extravagant of balls when the time becomes right" he smiled gently at her and she smiled back.
"I don't want a party, I just want to spend time with you and the other kings."
"We shall be leaving now Princess. On the way I implore you to bid farewell to your other mates, they will greatly miss you." Caius persuaded. He was worried, the brothers were to commence into battle against the Cullen Coven. Whatever was said, none could deny that the Cullens held power that nearly rivalled the kings alone.
" of course" she giggled and the pair made their way through the castle. Her bags had vanished at an unknown time of day and her excitement bubbled. She knew the holiday with Caius would be considerably more laidback and calm than the other two she'd been on.
Entering the cold stone throne room, she made her way to her mate's sides. She pecked Aro on the lips and tightly embraced him before doing the same to a smiling Marcus.
" We shall see you soon love. "
"I love you," she spoke to all three of the gentlemen in the room and their eyes lit up like a Christmas tree as they made their way through the large oak doors and away from the castle.

The jet ride was shorter than she envisioned it to be and that was due to the fact that she managed to sleep through most of it. Her excitement radiated and Caius couldn't contain his own glee as he witnessed her own.
"I hope you like what I have planned."
"I'm sure I will absolutely love it" she giggled and took his hand, Caius pulled her to stand and the pair made their way off the jet, his arms locking around her waist proactively as they descended the stairs.
"Are you ready?" he smiled. She nodded eagerly. Taking in her surroundings, Attarah found that it was hot and the sun shone above them the rays thankfully concealed by clouds to Caius did not shine like a disco ball. They were standing within a concrete landing station, a flashy car parked not too far away with a perfectly groomed Chauffeur. The man, who they did not know the name of opened the car door instantly upon their approach.
Sliding into the back seat, Attarah scrutinized the black leather and speak interior as the scent of clean crust pine filled her nostrils, the smoothly expensive leather cooling her heated skin as she relaxed into the comfort.
Caius took the seat beside her quickly and the door was shut. The pair watched the suited man enter, he was evidently a vampire and had what appeared to be a small radio, a curly wire leading from his ear down the back of his shirt. Before departure, Attarah watched a guard enter also, Felix. He sent her a wink before turning back around, a similar wire in place.
"where are we?" she questioned excitably.
"Brazil" Caius beamed and she returned it. She had never been to Brazil but she knew she was overly excited.
