Attarah frowned, feeling a pain shoot through her skull and she groaned lowly, rolling over and gripping her head in pain, her eyes were sore and her eyelids heavy, her throat was dry and she felt as though she hadn't slept in days despite only just awakening. "Attarah?" A delicate male voice floated through her brain though she couldn't place it and that fact irritated her. Aro, Marcus, and Caius sat in the bedroom suite of their lavish jet, each sat on the plush bed around their sleeping mate, suddenly she groaned and grabbed her skull, making them all turn to her in slight fear, knowing she was in pain, Aro was the one to speak. "Aro?" Her voice queried when she finally placed his voice, her eyes finally coming into focus as she saw the man's face, she squeaked and buried her head under the sheets when she saw how close him and the kings were. "Attarah, we wouldn't dream of hurting you" Caius informed and grabbed the sheets, pulling them off her body, revealing her tearstained face, this confused all three kings as Bella had told them of Attarahs cheerful behavior. "Don't cry Darling, it is all okay" Marcus promise her, catching her hand and gently stroking her skin, watching as she relaxed. "I'm sorry" she hiccups and wipes away her tears, planting her customary smile along her features though she was still dying inside, she had perfected her fake smile over the years. "Its quite alright Darling" Aro assured her and she turned her face so she could look between all three of them, she didn't even know how to begin being a mate, let alone with three kings. For she knew that that was the role she played in their lives. "Is everything alright Attarah?" "Yes, everything is quite alright" she smiled, her dimples denting her tanned cheeks and her green gaze glistening splendidly. "When do we arrive at our destination?" "A few hours, you were asleep for a long time" "Was it truly necessary to force me unconscious?" She queried, her plump lips falling from their previous smile into a grimace as she reassessed the pain crackling through her skull. "We apologize sincerity miss swan but we had little choice" "I would have came willingly" "Would you?" Aro asked as he took one of her hands, holding it in his, he noticed that she didn't seem to mind about the temperature very much. "I would" "And leave your family?" Caius asked as he lay beside her on the bed. "Yes, in the end, we would have found one another without the interference of my dear sister" she explained her theory though her mind flashed back to the promise they'd made one another years ago to be sisters for life. "That is very true" Marcus smiled as she returned it, she enjoyed seeing him happy, he always seemed so saddened in the portraits she'd seen him in. Though, as Attarah assessed them, she realized that all three of them were equally the most flawless beings she'd ever laid eyes upon, they were gorgeous in every aspect, she could feel their ruby eyes on her body and that made her stiffen subconsciously, ashamed. "What is the matter dear one?" Caius asked as he pulled her so she lay on his chest, she hesitated but eventually relaxed at his touch but she felt bad because she longed for the touch of the others also. "How can I want all three of you?" She whispered and instantly, she was laying on Marcus's lap, Caius and Aro on either side of her, she felt comforted by their touch and snuggled backward into Marcus, pulling the other kings closer to her body in the process as she drifted. ----- The three kings managed to remove themselves of the ivy of Attarahs arms, unwillingly, of course, they, unfortunately, had work to be done and after an hour of relaxing in their mate's arms, it was time for them to return to their duties. The three kings sat around the mahogany desk in the main compartment along with other guard members and each pawed through testaments and update papers. The jet was vast, as they needed it to be and it was also well equipped for any scenario which they appreciated. "There's a new member of the Eastern Atlantic coven, named Olivander, he has a gift similar to Alice Cullen though not as intense" Alec informed his masters as he read over the piece of parchment in his fingertips, it was customary for vampires to update the Volturi of their coven progression. "Brilliant" Caius sighed, the Eastern Atlantic coven was growing intensely in numbers and they had no legal way of halting the progress, there was not a limit number to the amounts of vampires allowed to a coven, though they could easily gain enough members to overthrow the Volturi. "Do not stress Caius" a melodious voice floated through his mind and he relaxed, looking up to see his mate standing to his left, she placed her hand on his shoulder and he smiled, opening his arms and allowing the human to sit on his lap. "So this is Mistress Attarah?" Jane queried to Aro, the torturous blonde instantly liked the new mate, she was perfect for the kings. Her skin was a pale tan and had a flawless appearance, her hair fell perfectly in dark ringlets down her back and her green eyes glistened against the contrast of her pale features, her cheekbones and jawline were accentuated and lips were a perfect red, dimples visible on her sweet cheeks. "Indeed it is" Aro smiled affectionately, watching as Caius spoke happily to their mate, a smile on both their faces, it had been a long while since any Volturi had seen their blond master so happy and it was a sight to behold..... --- Attarah placed her chin on Caius' shoulder, the Volturi were discussing important matters that she didn't understand so she merely basked in the feeling of her mates' arms, the odd tingles forcing her to close her eyes. "So we steer clear of Romania?" Felix asked from where he sat and the kings agreed, both other males were jealous of the embrace of Attarah on Caius but they said nothing. "Mistress Attarah? Would you like to borrow some clothing?" Jane asked, noticing that the future queen was still wearing her bridesmaid gown. "Yes please, if that is possible, I don't wish to trouble you" the adorable human smiled, standing gently from Caius' lap, making him feel empty inside. "It is not a problem mistress" Jane ensured and hesitantly held her hand out for Attarah, the kings' mate took her hand and was guided out of the room and away from her vampire lovers, leaving them to work without the distraction of her presence. ----- "At the Volturi, there are unwritten rules, unwritten dress codes" Jane informed and Attarah frowned but nodded, having processed the information. "Chelsea and Heidi, two members of the elite guard, put together a wardrobe for you at the castle and gave me a few dresses for you here on the plane." "You will someday be the vampire queen so you need to dress in the finest, it will forever be as if you are going to a ball okay?" The torturous blonde queried and Attarah widened her eyes, overwhelmed, to say the least, though she allowed Jane to dress her. The dress was glorious, a deep red that was tight at the top, a rose petal design. The dress flowed out at the waist in layers of flowing red silks, petals and flowers sewn intricately along the bottom. Jane then proceeded to redo her makeup and pin her hair into a more traditional updo style. "Done, you look marvelous" Jane cheered and Attarah looked down at herself in shock, in a few short hours everything she'd known had changed and she'd never felt so alone whilst surrounded by company. She sat on the bed, her gaze pinned on the window, vaguely aware that the plane was landing but she ignored that fact. "Mistress?" Jane queried and eventually, Attarah stood and walked toward the door, pausing shortly to allow Jane to fix the dress, she could already tell that constantly wearing a dress would be a nuisance. "Come along" Jane took the future queens hand and guided her through the empty plane that had now landed when they reached the doors, Jane opened them and they saw everyone crowded around at the bottom of the planes stairwell. "Masters" Jane greeted as she descended and the men looked up, instantly locking gazes with their gorgeous mate, her appearances made their nonexistent heartbeats race. As she walked down the stairs, the dress flowed out behind her like soft waves and she could hear her velvet shoes as they tapped the stairs, luckily Jane had allowed her to wear flats as they had to walk back to the castle. "Hello darling, you look marvelous" Aro informed her and she ducked her head, acting as posh as she could, he smiled at her attempts and offered his hand to her in which she accepted. They began walking through the forests and Attarah sighed as every few minutes, Jane lifted the back of her dress as it got caught in the leaves. "This dress shall be the death of me" the future queen mumbled after twenty minutes of walking. The human grabbed the dress, bundling the bottom up and holding it in her right hand before retaking Aro's with her left, everyone chuckled at her practical actions and the kings smiled at her. "Better love?" Marcus asked. "Much" she grinned and he chuckled, her legs were visible up to her knees and her velvet shoed feet could be seen, the red contrasting the deep green grass. "Do we have much longer to go?" She asked ten minutes later and by Caius' expression, she could decipher that they had a long walk ahead of them, she sighed and started walking faster, feeling her legs ache but ignoring it, wanting to reach the castle. "Do not push your body too much Attarah, I do not want you to get hurt" Marcus charted and she sighed once more, slowing and regretting walking fast as her legs protested, making her stumble into Aro's side. "I've got you" he soothed and swung her into a bridal carry, her dress swishing as she released it, she laid her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes, feeling wind whip passed. At the sensation, she opened her eyes to see the forest blur by. Finally, the speed stopped and she looked up to see a great stone castle before her, her green orbs filled with awe and she smiled, her teeth glinting in the light, her smile was truly dazzling and everyone was blessed whereby she constantly had one on her face. "It's beautiful" she whispered to Aro as she reached up and slid her fingers through his soft hair, making his fiery eyes close momentarily. "I'm glad you think so, this shall be your home my love" he smiled and she smiled in return, allowing herself to slide back onto her feet, the dress flowing in a cloud surrounding her as she looked up at the door which slowly began opening, the door to her new life. --- The heavy doors were pulled open and the Volturi guards disappeared instantly, leaving only the kings and their new mate, she walked slowly inside, making sure she'd remember the experience forever, the stone walls on either side of her were tall and large oil paintings occupied them all, a peaked roof spread over their heads and the beams were clearly visible. Everything was marvelous. As she finally reached the first set of doors, directly parallel to the first, she noticed two stairwells on either side, heading upwards in different directions. Finally, she opened the door and walked in, tailed by the kings who watched her emotions carefully, noticing that the smile never left her face. The room beyond the second set of doors was rounded and cozy in every way, multiple couches circled the room and a desk occupied the right-hand corner, an uneducated human lady sat behind it, sifting through papers. "Where to now?" She asked her lovers, noticing multiple doors leading from the room, Aro guided her to the largest doors and she opened it to see a large throne room, three thrones of a raised platform, a window above reflected a kaleidoscope of colors onto the marbled floor and she saw multiple doors leading from the room but she chose not to investigate. "One day, you shall have a throne of your own" Caius informed her, wrapping his arms around her waist from behind and pressing her back to his front, his face buried into her hair, inhaling the scent that was both refreshing and painful at the same time. Her blood was of the most miraculous of scents, floral almost yet it made all three kings worry about control, her blood burnt their throats. "I am only human" she informed, allowing her smile to lessen, Aro discovered that her pouty lips constantly seemed upturned, giving the impression of a smile without meaning to, even her dimples stayed intact whilst her smile faded.  "You will not always be human my darling, how old are you now?" Marcus queried, it was clear by her angelic features that she still held youth. "Eighteen in three months...December 14th" she informed and they all seemed shocked, their darling mate was not even of age, she was merely seventeen years of age. All three kings were turned during their mid-twenties. "You are still young sweetheart" Caius whispered in her ear and gently removed his arms from her, waltzing to his throne and sitting, watching as his brothers followed suit. Attarah knew not of what to do as each king read through papers that had been left out for them. Eventually, Atty walked forward and sat on the stone floor between Marcus and Aro's thrones, the dress lay in a perfect round circle around her as she played nonchalantly with the silky material. "Why are you sat on the floor dearest?" Marcus asked her softly, looking down at her, she looked up through her lashes and he swallowed, her innocent orbs startling her. "I wasn't sure what to do, you didn't tell me what to do" she breathed out and he frowned. "Do whatever you wish my princess, you need not follow orders" he answered her and she played with her fingers, pondering his words but not believing them, she felt like a small fish in a big pond, everything she knew had changed, all her priorities had shifted, she was not to finish school. She worried about Charlie primarily, she didn't know what had been said to him and she knew it must be a valid alibi but with Bella married, he'd be all alone. Whilst she spoke to herself within her mind, the kings began speaking to one another, she was the topic, more importantly, where she was to stay. "I refuse to lock her away" Aro demanded and the other two nodded, turning back into their conversation, Attarah felt slightly uncomfortable, being discussed whilst being in the room. "She shall stay with us, with whichever of us she chooses, she has full freedom" Caius answered and they agreed, falling back into silence, an unmeasurable amount of time passed in silence as the three kings signed documents and Attarah spent the entire time sat on the stone floor, the coldness biting her and the hardness of the stone beginning to ache her skin. "How are you doing my sweet?" Aro asked her after an hour, she seemed to be very patient and that he appreciated, after two hours of sat on the stone floor, she said nothing and kept a smile on her face, he was slightly proud. "I am fine thank you" she lied smoothly, pins and needles spiking her legs, she was sat on her legs, resting on her knees. "I'm glad to hear it, we shall be done soon" he answered before turning to a new stack of work, she couldn't understand how they had so much to sign, what was there to sign? After another twenty minutes, her stomach growled and she looked down at it, poking it in an attempt to silence it though the damage had been done, she looked up at the three pairs of ruby eyes above her and sighed. "Hungry?" Caius asked her, already knowing the answer. "No" he frowned slightly, knowing that she had lied to him. "Attarah, you must not lie to us! We are attempting to keep you healthy!" He yelled, suddenly angered for no real reason, he was merely irritated that she was hurting herself to satisfy them. "I'm sorry" her face fell as she looked to the dull stone, tears pooling in her eyes, she'd never coped particularly well with shouting, no matter who it was too, but it was increasingly worse when it was to her and from someone she held dear. "Caius, brother, please excuse yourself and calm down, you have scared her" Aro spoke calmly though his eyes were blazing angrily signifying that he would leave and that he had no choice. "Fine!"
