A few hours later I finally crack it by getting deep within the dark web, I lean back into my chair letting out an exasperated breath “Did you want a coffee I made you one?” Dimitri says as he walks in, I don’t look at him “Yes please” both eyes shut and I’m eyerolling.

I sit up taking the long black from him, I sigh happily at the love of my life black coffee “Thank you” he leans back onto the desk and shrugs “No problems we are having a break at the moment” I look at him “Pardon?” my brow raised, if he brings it up I’m seriously cutting his balls off “Ragnor and I, so I thought you might want one while I was making one” I let out a breath I didn’t realize I was holding “Ah ok” I drink gulps “Hey careful you’ll burn yourself” he protests at me “It’s fine really, plus I need to relieve Revna” the look on his face was stupid, I smirked “You couldn’t look any more stupid right now… She’s staking out for me… and yes I still hope to be back for dinner otherwise tomorrow ok” he sighs “You know what let’s just forget tonight” he says almost in an annoyed tone but corrects himself quickly.

I nod before getting up and walking out to the garage he follows me “Be careful please” I wave him off as I shut the door behind me as I entered the garage a flick of a switch and  where once there was tools there is now rows of weapons I slip a glock .45 in the small of my back a ruger 9mm to my thigh a smith and Wesson .40 with a silencer. I strap a couple more blades around my bow and grabbing my bow and arrows for stealth attacks and a specialist gun instead of bullets you hold it up to a vampire’s chest and pull the trigger a metal stake comes out. I jump into my g-wagon getting out of the garage I hear for Revna and one of my brothers, after about one hour and thirty minutes I pull up behind them and quietly get out of the car and slide into the back seat of their car “s**t f**k oh it’s you Erica" Revna and Ulrik both jumped as I got in “seriously you two?? Why weren’t the car doors locked anyway??” I grumbled at them, they shrugged “Sorry” they said in unison “its ok just remember for future someone could of killed you both... anyways you two see anything interesting while I wasn’t here?” they look at each other and then to me Ulrik looks at me and speaks firstly “Absolutely nothing.. and I mean nothing nor have we smelt anything it’s like they have disappeared…” Revna nods confirmation “Ok this isn’t good we need to look at what’s happened, due to the loop in the fed anything could of happened..” I get out of the car and light up a cigarette I begin to pace up and down between the two cars Ulrik and Revna step out motioning for the packet, I toss it to them and the lighter “Ok we need to search the building cause if they are gone this whole thing has been for nothing.. and we are back to square one to find them…” I kick a stone that’s on the walkway “Revna pop your boot please” she does as I’ve asked I open the boot and flick a hidden switch behind a tail light, hidden compartments open up I look over the weapons at hand “I’m set you two need to get kitted up then we can head in.. let us try and do this without... getting hairy” I smirk at them and they give me a look “Funny hahaha” Revna says and Ulrik just gives me a look of you just didn’t did you. They walk over we finish our cigarettes, they pick their weapons “Ok let’s get this sweep down and hope that there is some clue” we lock the cars and head over.

We hide within the bushes trying to make sure that the building is vacant, I let my wolves use their senses just to make sure before we head in, once they gave the all clear we head in through a side door.

As we snuck in you could see that it was vacated in a hurry, rubbish some crates still left “Man they left in a hurry do you think because they found that the camera was tampered with they did the runner or something else contributed to their decision?” I start walking around seeing what may have happened “Can you two smell anything?” they sniffed the air “Oh god something smells bad, death” I walk towards what seemed to be an office, opening the door it smells horrid ‘don’t throw up don’t throw up’ I look around and find a body under a desk I grab a plastic bag and put it on the leg of the body. I pull the body out; I catch my breath when I see who it is “f**k…” I can hear that Revna and Ulrik have come in “f**k that is a f****d smell…” they walk to either side of me “Oh my god that’s Jimmy Belatas” Revna whispered both Ulrik and I nodded, “I did hear that someone had put a price on his head because he crossed some bad Vampire’s he stole from them but I figured that was just crap, it was a couple of weeks ago….” Ulrik mentioned, I hit Ulrik in the arm “Are you f*****g kidding me right now… you could of told me that when it happened I would of gotten to him sooner without taking the extra precautions.. you i***t” I growled at him, he put his hands up “I’m sorry it seriously slipped my mind, since working with Ragnor and Dimitri too I’m getting stretched… Lucas is flying in and out doing the s**t for Ragnor and father.. so, it’s been difficult...” I sigh knowing it wasn’t his fault “It’s ok, well I guess this contract we can call finished to the client…. Hmm do you think the client is the one that ordered the hit… ah well he will still pay any way…” we walk out of the building back to the cars “Hey do you want to go to Saleos tonight?” I ask them as we stand at our cars, they both grin at me “How could we ever say no to Saleos what time?” I look at my watch and calculate time “Shall we go together or meet there?” I asked, Revna looks at me “Let us girls get there together and the boys can find their way… what if we get a penthouse for the night too?” my eyes light up “Sure thing, I’m pretty sure it’s burlesque themed tonight so make sure you play the party…. Ok let’s get back we have a drive away, ring the Ragnor and he can organise it” I say them before jumping into my car taking off they jumped in their car and follow me all the way home.
